Who else we got? Winks is no improvement. Gedson is extinct. GLC or Tanguy apparently not fit enough to play together as midfielders.

He's in there by default, we don't have any other midfielder to partner Hojbjerg.
 
His inability to jump off the ground and win an aerial ball coupled with his terrible first touch , lack of awareness , dreadful passing ability and general incompetence has me scratching my head as to why top football managers keep picking him week after week.

I think once Gio is fully fit he’ll follow the route of Winks and become regular in lesser games

I come here more than is healthy to say the same or similar. Beats the shit out of me what professional football coaches see in him?

He's strong, athletic, has a high work rate and offers that physical presence great teams need.
He has the ability to go toe to toe with any great attacker in the world. I would imagine it'd be a pain in the ass for most attackers to play against Moussa.
