Y'know what I learnt from this??? Matt1882 after going to South Korea a number of times i didn't know that they follow the Lunar stuff China does :)

I also learnt that we also shamelessly exploit it but then I'm a hypocrite because I do own a Christmas Spurs jumper - that's only because it's the only time of the year I can wear Spurs stuff in the office while being laughed at by everyone in said office...unlike in Korea where Spurs are treated like a top tier team for some reason...b..b..I honestly have lost my point here but at least I only paid £18 for mine so yeah THATS MY POINT :D

Why do you think Son plays no matter how off colour he is?
If we're talking foreign fans as a whole, I have little doubt Koreans make up the bulk of those at the game on a matchday.
Do doubt we'll have a 2 legged pre-season playing in both our overseas cashcows.
We used the likes of Keller, Friedel and Dempsey to get our toes in to the US market, and look how many US posters there are here. Son was a way into the Korean market and now Ange has opened a door into a sports mad country without much affiliation with the PL.
Viduka, Bosnic, Cahill, Kewell, probably the only big players I can think of. I've looked through the list and none of the others are household names.

Oh I know I've been on the International Fans debate on this platform for a while - I know how it is.

I called out a certain international fan YouTuber for not knowing any players past this Season's team except Kane in some panel they were on all I asked was 'How long have you even been a supporter?' & oh god I got a Simp Army come for me & even the creator themself came for me finding my email address crazy shit man KEEERRRRRAAAAZY SHIT :D

Whilst I'm happy for foreign fans to become Spurs fans, I don't take them that seriously until they become properly battle hardened like us 30+ year vets.

I've been a Lilywhite since 1991.

I can tell you my Best Memory as a Spurs fan in 2008 & my worst in 2019 when I STUPIDLY thought they would win so I paid my ticket, my flights, my hotel & had never been SO FUKKIN LET DOWN IN MY LIFE so I spent the rest of my 'Holiday' in Madrid getting completely wasted anyone asked me why I was there i just shouted FUKK SPURS & continued drinking...

I started in 1994
I think I was battled hardened before we survived Y2K.
Even that season taught 13 Y/O me not to get my hopes up. That 4-1 semi final thrashing and then the reason I started getting in to football, Klinsmann, left - I should have bailed there and then.
If I'd done what all my school mates did, and glory hunted Man United I'd be a hypocritical whiner today. I'd be boo-hooing about not winning a title for 12 years off the back of 11 of them from 95/96 to now. 5 FA Cups. 5 League Cups. 2 CL's. Ropey League.

Then again, two of my school mates (twins) jumped off the Liverpool bandwagon that season and have been......Blackburn glory hunters ever since, so it could have been much worse.

Did anyone see the 2nd floor flat window on the High Road (directly opposite the Ledley King Mural & Jamaican Pop-up BBQ place) the owner has stuck a giant homemade AIA (in white tape) across the window....
Not THFC, not COYS, but have chosen AIA to show their 'support'!!

I hadn't noticed it before, but saw it on Sunday.... WTF have we become Spurs are associated with AIA's initials more than our ACTUAL initials!!!
Shameful.

Yeah 94 to 2000 was dominated by Man United even though I knew United were good all my friends were either Man United or Woolwich & we took the piss out of the Man U kids cos we were like WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WENT TO A GAME???

I didn't hate Manchester United then I kinda respected them my hate solidified with them between 2018 till now cos they refused to believe they became a banter club.

I didn't even hate Woolwich until about 2004 when most of the fans just became insufferable using that NO TROPHIES & BOTTLE JOB crap & that they're INVINCIBLE & THE BEST etc etc etc...I grew up in SE London so I was closer to their fukkin history than most of their fans...

But we did win a trophy in 1999 but most Spurs fans I know look back at that one with ire cos soon after that JUDAS CUNT fukked us over...don't know if you do?

Anyways being a Spurs fan is a funny ol thing...least we got something in 2008 & nearly got the job done in 2017 LE SIGH
