State of our fan base, 3rd in the league, top of CL group and they’re planning the next manager.

I bet the kids on here get exactly what they want for Christmas
He's out of contract in 7 months. No one (or hardly any) are saying sack him now. But until he signs a new contract i think its a legitimate discussion to have. The constant speculation with Conte was always going to happen.

I think that looks most agreeable to me

I'll need a new set of backroom staff ofcourse

I've drawn up a preliminary list of targets

Chief Scout - Steve Hitchen
Head of match day tactics - thinktank thinktank
Fitness coach - DSanditon DSanditon
Club ambassador & Head of PR - GOAT GOAT
Mental Health & wellness councilor - kolyid kolyid
Of that list, Hitchen is still the least qualified for his position.

It will be disastrous for the club specially the board should Conte walks out or sacked at the end of this season or earlier.

It will prove there will be no manager in the world who could do better job at this club with current owners.

It will be time for Spurs fans to forget about trophies and PL title will never happen.
Exactly this, if we can’t be successful with Conte then we might as well switch the lights out…….and if the board, Levy and some dimwits on here can’t see that, that Conte is the man to bring success given time and funds then they don’t know a lot about football……..

I agree with this but in fairness, our fan base is pretty vocally anti-Conte at this point and ENIC can buy themselves another season or two with a change. I'd be amazed if it wasn't Poch next season.

I enjoyed Pochettino’s time with us as much as the next fan, how he had us playing in a style not seen by a Tottenham team in decades and had us believing we would/could compete but and here’s the but he had at his disposal the best squad that we’ve had in a generation and couldn’t get us over the line so what makes people think he would with a weaker squad? Conte is a draw in attracting players Pochettino isn’t…..and his transfer activity was poor…..

That wasn’t really true at the time though. Walker, Rose, Dembele and many others where nothing like the players they became, many of them where deadwood under AVB and Sherwood. He was remarkable at getting players to improve but showed limitations at evolving the squad with signings (admitted that is the DoF/scouts jobs). Transfers is not Poch’s bag anymore than it’s Levy if the club is properly run.

With Paratici we wouldn’t have that issue. I am just against Poch on the grounds it’s not always wise to go back but the fact we blame Poch for the transfers just shows how poorly the club was structured/run at the time.

The next manager will be someone with attacking flair, Levy will make that statement.

Simeone then.

Would Paratici still be at Tottenham if Conte did bail……..I’m not against Pochettino coming back but only if Conte was to leave on his own accord I’m not in favour of sacking Conte for Pochettino
