The last of the progressive football candidates on the supposed list is Postecoglou. Hardly up and coming at 57 but i'd rather take a punt on him than Luis Enrique, Brendan Rodgers or Graham Potter. He was on Brightons list and quite frankly i trust their judgement more than our fucking idiots.

Slot was the best manager available that hadn't refused us (Nagelsmann) who was young and fit every single box when it comes to playing exciting football, building on a young team and getting the best out of what he has.

Luis Enrique would be a disaster. Rodgers will never be accepted. Potter has that Chelsea stink. Kompany has signed a new deal.

The only manager id want us to move forward and get now is Ange from Celtic if Nagelsmann is definitely a no.

Slot would never have worked out here because of Levy and Enic. Obviously he is a talented coach but you have to look at his teams to understand that here he would not be able to work and build the way he has at Feyenoord.

Why would t they trust JN to pick a good DOF? Surely his choice would be far better than anything levy or Munn could come up with!
The point of a DoF is that they are supposed to be independent and provide continuity between managers. Otherwise he's just another member of JN's staff.

If JN picks him and JN fails, do we sack the DoF too?

Levy said we'll pick the DoF and then they will choose the manager. If we've got this far with Slot, surely we already have a DoF picked out.

I don’t know where we go from here

Enic need to get out of this club, we’re a laughing stock
I didn’t think we could eclipse 2021, but we’re genuinely very close to doing so. Every viable choice has either told us fuck off, sighed a new deal or we just haven’t bothered talking to them.

And then you have this whole “oh we’d rather appoint a Sporting Director first” bollocks thrown into the mix which is clearly a massive problem too.

It’s a mess. A complete and utter mess.

This board is out of touch with fans and reality on how football works. Built and spent a billion quid on stadium but not serious in challenging for titles. What was the point of building new stadium if were not serious about competing. How much longer are they going to rinse the loyalty of fans?

Jesus Christ that's depressing.

And super duper Spursy

Don't know too much about him, however, it's time to take a big gamble with the next manager.

The 'established' names aren't interested and we broke Conte and Mourinho.
Kjetil Knutsen has been in the mix for several PL-Jobs, incl Brighton, Bournemoth and Leeds, so he is probably coming here sooner or later.

Held my hopes for a return of Poch, but when that seems unlikely, Tottenham need - and are probably now deemed - to a more unproven manager..
