Let's be fair, Spurs have a long term vision, but it's a corporate one. One that gives little weight to the reality that footballing success, above everything else, drives growth.
Right, exactly. And the reason things are different now than they were in 2012 or whatever is that the business goals and methods of the club are no longer compatible with the way the sporting part of the club is run.

The jig is up for Levy, it's time to cash out.
So I think you may be right if you are saying that all the rejigging is indeed not serious, not with any real intent or belief, and maybe even just a cynical way of trying to sell another bit of hope that 'this time it will be different' to the customers/fans.
Honestly I think Levy just kind of naively believes that if he puts the right structure and personnel in place, they will make the right decisions all the time and there won't be any tension he swings in on a chandelier to resolve.

Levy's absolute worst characteristic is his inability to learn from his mistakes, he's a serial repeater of errors. That's why I go nuts when people assess the situation under an assumption he'll change - he never has and he never will.

I think the main reason why there’s such an outrage over Postecoglou is because of the lack of clarity over Nagelsmann.

Every single Spurs fan would rather hear that Nagelsmann rejected us, rather than the club saying they’re not even going to bother interviewing him. Fucking idiotic decision from the club. We need that clarity or else people will not stop complaining as to why we aren’t bothering going for him

For all we know, Nagelsmann could be completely open to coming still given the right conditions (a DOF that can benefit both him and the club). And therefore this is why the majority are outraged over the Ange news

What do you base your view on ?
I'm sure that most of us are NOT happy if it's Arne .

Happy and fine with it are different.

Is Postecocoglou the first choice or even a top choice for the majority of spurs fans? no chance

Would the majority of Spurs fans be open to seeing what he's about? based on this forum, yes.

I'd still have this order of being happy with:

Nagelsmann
Luis Enrique
Postecoglou

What about the Galardo bloke (or whatever his name is)?

Why Luis Enrique? Maybe it’s just me but he has always been the one I don’t want.
His style would be so hard to implement in the EPL with the players we currently have and even if he did pull it of to a certain extent, his Spanish team were dull as ditch water to watch. He doesn’t seem a big personality or particularly a man managing type of guy??
