Well, Kaboul is injured. Benoit is injured. Adebayor has a slight injury. Naughton just came back from injury. Starting to look like Parker will never make another appearance for us. Dembele is injured.
Hasn't been much of a chance for rotation, yet.
Parrot?Id like to see the reaction if we played Carrol, Livermore, Smith, Parrot and Falque from the start (like Harry did and got slated for), and got murdered out there.
As you point out, it's better to judge AVB when he has a full squad.
Agreed. On a positive note Falque played well. Really impressed with his ball control and crossing ability

Well, we were looking for 3 points. I might have started Demspey up front for a bit of a change-up, but it's awfully early in the season to start worrying about players needing a rest.Take this game for example. Couldn't Livermore have started over Sandro, Smith over Walker? Even Dempsey up top to give Defoe a rest was an option.
Adebayor has been available for plenty of games. This idea that he is still not match fit is a fallacy IMO. He may have a slight knock today, but there have been several matches he was available for.
Plus, as EssexYid points out, Sandro could've been rested (although has has been quite good fro what I've seen in the second half). Livermore is available. Dempsey could have filled in for Defoe. There are options to give players a rest. Possible some of the younger players would've been more up for this.
Murdered? We got 10 points in our group last season. We need to win our last 3 games (including away to Lazio) to beat that.
And we could have played those players, couldn't have been much worse.
Blame should be on the players heads, really poor effort from alot of them tonight.Know one should blame AVB at all. He wants to win this competition and it's up to the players to put the effort in.
He saw Townsend was shite and took him of. If he had a better replacement for Huddlestone he would done the same.

Wonder if some find it hard to be up for these games when the last manager was drumming it into them that it was a mikey mouse cup.
Its a joke that were talking about players needing a rest now in the season. Fuck off, I'm not giving them any sympathy.
