ok fair enough. i would be surprised if we are not top 6.I haven't changed since the start of the season I would say somewhere between 8-12. If you want an exact place I would say 10th with Villa and WH passing us.

This result is what you might call putting a plaster on it….so we're two points behind man utd and city. 3 behind liverpool. we are really having a TERRIBLE season so far. must sack the nuno straight away.
what were you expecting before the season? to be ahead of all those teams after 7 games? being just one win behind them is shockingly bad for 76% apparently??
i've seen what he did at wolves and they performed really well during his time there. finished 7th two seasons in a row. 19-20 on same points as us with a lesser team. that is the main reason that I have faith in him and I think it is too early to call for him to be removed. This result is what you might call putting a plaster on it….
Good win, but an expected win would you not say?
There are positives of course, obviously the win which is important, and a few more 90mins under the belts of new signings…
Other than that I didn't see a lot to think we will end the season “only 3pts behind Liverpool” or who ever…
This game was won by a top quality player doing what he does best, take players on and make shit happen, but it certainly wasn’t won by great tactical coaching or magical substitutions, or a team just bursting with so much talent that the result was inevitable…
A win is a win, and much needed, no matter what we think of the overall picture we can’t just hope to lose to make a point, but we must also not forget that this thing isn’t all fairy’s and unicorns…..
The bald man upstairs must be removed from power, the coach must be given some respect but still replaced long term…..
Oh now... we werent expecting to win this at all.
Erm…..perhaps he does just need time? But multiple games pan out like that one, one team dominates & then a sucker punch but we got away with that scenario today and deservedly so, wolves away you could argue we were lucky classic smash & grab hey ho swings & roundaboutsStill in the out camp, but I'm very impressed with us today. Villa have been a great side and they came here full of confidence. Nuno set us up well, we looked solid and played some decent stuff at times. Really didn't deserve to concede and should have won by at least a 2 goal margin. Credit where it's due. I hope he can prove me and everyone else wrong.
You are correct in a lot of it, and again I’m well pleased with the win…..But over all it doesn’t change much….why the fuck is this typing like this…i've seen what he did at wolves and they performed really well during his time there. finished 7th two seasons in a row. 19-20 on same points as us with a lesser team. that is the main reason that I have faith in him and I think it is too early to call for him to be removed.
yes, we have been somewhat lucky with some of those wins but a win is a win and 12 points is 12 points. if we had 5 points at this stage it would be much more understandable but we are actually up there and if we just keep getting those results, we could have a surprisingly good season.
today we played really positive football. best game since man city and nothing to complain about there. or is there?
In a normal season I mean…
Time? What is this word? We don't do that here at Spurs...Erm…..perhaps he does just need time? But multiple games pan out like that one, one team dominates & then a sucker punch but we got away with that scenario today and deservedly so, wolves away you could argue we were lucky classic smash & grab hey ho swings & roundabouts
Not it isn’t - it’s a completely meaningless stat made up by virgin FIFA fanboisI know quite a few people on here hate xG but it really is the best way to objectively look at how many decent opportunities a team is carving out.
Top 10 would be a good achievement this season
That’s my kind of person.

None of them use this bullshit stat. Ever. FactOne utilized by every single elite club in world football, and taken seriously by all the best managers as well.
People who can't accept that the game has changed and analytics play a bigger role than ever are always very amusing. If 'virgin FIFA fanbois' = Arsene Wenger, Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Julien Nagelsmann, and all the major analytic experts who work with PL clubs then sure, whatever you say.
