What the fuck is this West Ham team? 7 months ago they were on the verge of relegation and now they're one of the best sides in the league? When does this nightmare end???

Said this straight after our home game.

We have better players, Rice aside who is really good in his position, but they have this season a better team.

And that is all on Mourinho.
 
City really sluggish in general, and are carrying three players - De Bruyne (apart from the ping for the goal), Aguero and Fernandinho - who aren't fit and totally off the pace/intensity trying to ease themselves back in after not playing for ages.

On that 45 mins West Ham can get deffo get a point, and more, if City don't step it up. They've been compact and tough to break down (much better than against us, where they got caught unsure of how to sit on a 2-0 lead and just ended up being really passive) and countered well.

A problem with the "false fullback" - City turned the ball over quickly and he got stuck in no mans land, still in central midfield and not getting back to defend the orthodox Left Back position before West Ham worked the ball that way to the space.

It wasn't great by De Bruyne and Torres either losing their men though, tbf.

Moyes is playing to their strengths in order to minimize their deficiencies. He's not jamming round pegs into square holes. They don't have a great defense or offense so everything runs through Rice and Soucek.

Not sure it's quite like that but they are mighty effective at present, whichever way it's looked at.
