Listening to Steven Gerrards post match interview (Rangers 3 - 0 Livingston)
We lost our way in the middle part of the game, we complicated the game, so we took too many touches.
But then we found the intensity again and started to take less touches and find the space to cross, to open them up, and then we killed the game….

It might be Scottish football some will say, but the mechanics of football is the same at any level the world over, one of the reasons he got my vote is our recent poll, very very smart manager who knows exactly what every player in his squad is capable of and plays to those strengths, never try’s to play any player out of their comfort zone….If only that were true of our managers in recent times…

Only place he'll leave there for is to replace Klopp though. Good grounding if he can fend Celtic off consistently.

Celtic are fucked..... He's gonna end up strolling the league for a few years like Brenton did.

Yeah, but he didn't win that much as a player, so racking up a few leagues and cups up there swells his Aura to players, when he moves back south. Would like him here, if Nuno doesn't work out.

He'll stay till Liverpool come calling.

As for boosting his aura...... Hardly necessary; he's an EPL legend to most.

Yeah, but it's half time in a final, it just helps he's been there 12-15 times as manager, been through multiple scenarios from several different positions... Those types of experiences are Gold, it still took Fergie years you would never get now in the Prem.

Agree about 'Pool.

No one really knows for sure until he’s asked the question.
Always going to be that “too risky” tag with him whilst in Scotland, which I think is a really bad way to look at it unfortunately, he’s only in Scotland, he’s only in a farmers league so obviously he can’t do it in England, yet Liverpool will go right in there and snap him up when they are ready to do so, all of a sudden Scottish football was a great league for him to cut his teeth etc etc and he will be expected to win titles at Anfield….

We can sleep soundly knowing we went for a premier league proven manager in Nuno, no risk with Nuno, none at all….

I bet we asked the question. What he's done has already usurped Rodgers...

Doubt we inquired about him but who really knows….

If Levy says Nuno is the guy then Nuno is the guy….
Looking forward to the season to be honest, football in general is away down on list of priorities these days but still excited for this season for some reason, zero expectations so maybe that’s why, the hope of being pleasantly surprised is intriguing and the only way is up from that absolute horrible season we just endured…..

A lot of PSG's internationals were still on holiday. But that's still not the way you want to start the season if you are PSG.

Especially not with this strong of a B-team:
