Not sure why, but we rarely ever field a legitimate squad for this comp it seems. This year’s team was essentially the back ups to our backups playing. Chris Richards really the only player I would imagine makes our first XI come the WC next year.
Just woke up - so I watched this tournament, I think the USMC or whatever they're called - I just call em USA are not as shit as the media portrays them to be.
I watched the final as well - great first headed goal from a great ball into the box & they kept good positioning their defensive line just wasn't enough but they played their hearts out & it was a very physical game but Mexico were just the better team.
It was a good match & after conceding that first goal from Mexico I was thinking ohh they cannot hold out till half time! where have I seen this before??? but when that second goal came in from Mexico I knew it was a done deal for them.
I don't wanna go into the Pulisic thing, if he doesn't want to play then don't play - I've never cared if an English player doesn't want to play for England (like Vardy, Ben White etc) it's their choice & it doesn't bother me.
I would've liked USA to win but alas wasn't to be but I will say something that Diego Luna player is particularly good in my eyes & enjoyed his playing, he's always looks pissed off & just hungry for the game which I appreciate.
Anyways that's my two cents on the matter
