Metz probably knocked 3m off to keep him for a year. I’ll give you three guesses who that appealed to.
He's just turned 19, it's a sensible thing to do. Throwing a kid into this team at his age may do more harm than good. Can't really see why it's an issue if we had a better squad nobody would think twice about it.
Oliver Skipp could have made contributions for us last year but we were much, much better off with him becoming a proper full-time professional with Norwich.
If Sarr has that kind of season we'll be in wonderful shape.
