Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If you genuinely think (as you originally stated) that, aside from 5 players, we've had nothing 'bang average' players in recent memory that you're your own kind of "vapid" and are "caricaturing" yourself.

(You're an odd guy yourself.... Seemingly "good" also and happy to post agrees and likes on my posts, but lightening quick to flip to insults and being a proper prickly git if I'm ever 'brave' to have an alt. point of view to you............. I've a thick skin; but check yourself if you're gonna dole out such barbs.)
I agree with what I agree with. Don't mistake me for a person that is not capable of binary thinking that seems to be you. Somtimes you make a point I agree with lots of the time its guff imho. You're also ridiculously literal. Me naming five players does not mean there are only five players. They are illustrative place holders.

I could also careless how thick your skin is, if you are offended by something a stranger says on a public forum ignore it: them, or not as you choose. Because you don't require 'bravery' to disagree about football mate ( I'd reserve that for things that matter)or was that you using allusion. See you do understand literary device when you see fit.

All due respect.... Half of that doesn't even make sense.

We (or I) move on.

Put it on ignore. It has nothing useful to say.

He scored great goal. But hole between him and Romero could cost us game completely (Vardy should have buried that second one, so it could be easilly 2:1). And this time for both chances it was not that he was completely somewhere else because it was counter attack - he was right there, and it was just bad defending between him and Cuti. Also, going forward had a feeling our right side was completely dead in terms of any creation - except his cross for Solanke in first half. But this could be matter of Johnson being a waste machine in possession. Hope he comes back soon, but not afraid of starting Spence if Porro have to rest.

Johnson/Sarr combo is a creativity vortex.

I'd go as far as to day Johnson/Sarr/Porro. I love Porro but he's not nearly as creative as Udogie, Gray or Spence.

But upgrade just one of the three and it can work I think. Porro / Bergvall / Johnson would look ok, or Porro / Sarr / Odobert maybe.

I expect Porro will have to work hard to keep his starting spot this season (which is a good thing). It helps that he's started banging in goals recently. For a while last season I think he was leading the PL for most shots without a goal.

Complete bollocks.

Udogie is in no way more creative than Porro.

For all his defence lapses I'd have Porro in all day long as he's one of the few in this team that has the bollocks to force the issue and he's got a great knack for goals.

Yeah ok probably a bit harsh. And having a more creative 8 and RW around him is only going to improve his creativity.

Still hope he's under pressure for starting 11 though - in a good way.

Porro made 7 assists last season.

Johnson made 10.

Over a quarter of our league goals.

I'd like to start betting on which minute in the game Porro goes down with a seemingly life-threatening, career-ending leg or foot injury, only to be up & running again, like a spring lamb, within a couple of minutes. Happens every game.

My bet is during the 70th minute of the Everton game.

He’s capable of getting 10+ goals

He does a lot more than Udogie going forward and they both have similar lapses defensively. If Ange can’t find a DM, I’m more inclined to move Udgie deeper or play an LB/LCB hybrid to bring Udogie great competition.
