Wanyama, Palacios, Parker....none of them world beaters but they all made us a lot better
But they were all better 6/Dm's than Hojbjerg.

It is. I didn't want to tax anyone too much.Always thought it was Hoy-BeAir.
Who are those 'bigger' midfielders in our current 11?
Ndombele ?
Nah, it's HODGEBUJURGAlways thought it was Hoy-BeAir.
It’s A-ve-radjAlways thought it was Hoy-BeAir.
One hundred million dollarsFunny you should say that? I wonder how much we got out of Fulham via Josh getting them promoted?
Oh dear, doesn't sound so good then after allBut they were all better 6/Dm's than Hojbjerg.
I don't think there's anyway he will be a flop for us. At the very least I'd expect him to be Scott Parker level, which would be more than adequate right now considering we have nothing else other than Winks out of position.
But they were all better 6/Dm's than Hojbjerg.
How you know that
At least his name doesn’t start with N’ !As pleased as I am to see us making signings, this one is on a par with Allan Nielsen in terms of excitement. Mind you, at last he won a trophy.

Not even better, they were 6s/DMs as opposed to Hojbjerg, who is not. Hojbjerg is an 8 with shades of 6 to his play, very much in the mould of Harry Winks. He’s much more physical than Winks, but in a more similar way to Winks his main instinct is not to sit in front of the back 4 and break up the play, it’s to go forward and try and influence things. But they were all better 6/Dm's than Hojbjerg.
Maybe he’s been more of an 8 at Saints, but everything about this lad screams “coachable” and “listens to the manager”. I think given the fact that we are gonna be in a low or medium block alot of the time that he can fill in those gaps nicely. Not even better, they were 6s/DMs as opposed to Hojbjerg, who is not. It really is hard to comprehend why Mourinho seems so hell bent on Hojbjerg being the man to be his Makelele/Cambiasso/Khedira/Matic for Spurs. He’s a completely different player. It’s almost as if Jose saw the article from 50 years ago claiming Guardiola saw Hojbjerg as the new Busquets and said to himself “if the manager who’s the reason my methods and football philosophy are resigned to the scrap heap saw something of a DM in this kid then he’s the one I want.”
Its £15 million and an extra £5 million if we win the league and £5 million if we win the CL so basically its £15 million!Thought 15m sounded too good to be true.
