I looked up available coaches and I can now see it being Vincenzo Montella, Cesare Prandelli or Walter Mazzarri.

They seem to fit the profile Paratici is looking for of free, cheap yes men with Serie A experience. All 3 will also be desperate to manage Tottenham so will accept any financial restraints put on them.

There is no way Paratici will be got rid of before he’s even started, that would be even more embarrassing than what’s happened so far.

He and Levy have to work together to find a suitable manager, they need to start looking beyond Serie A.

If they are so desperate to humiliate themselves further then go crawling back to one of the managers who previously turned us down and start begging.

I don’t know enough about Paratici. I know that Arnesen and Comolli seemed to do decent jobs at the time and to get a Campos or maybe some like Rangnick seemed the obvious choice.

My fear with Paratici is he is just a connections man with Mendes and has no clue about football outside of Italy. A fall guy for Levy and nothing more. If that’s the case it doesn’t weaken the case for a DoF like Liverpool, Leicester, Man City have, it just strengthens the case for the removal of Levy and a new Chairman to hire a decent DoF.

Can’t feel that this is all a healthy dose of Karma for the club and those fans that turned on Pochettino at the first sign of difficulty.

I always felt history would look back on his Spurs tenure kindly.

Yeh unfortunately, many thought our natural position was top 4. Poch had said for 1-2 season a pain rebuild was needed after we spent Jack shit for 18 months. Levy turned on Poch soon as Jose was available and here we are, what a huge decline.

lot of things that have happened in the past few years going back to Sherwood and AVB have made me think at least 30-40% of our fan base are morons. I extend that to Levy to some extent who for some bizarre reason can’t figure out why a cheque book manager like Jose or even Conte doesn’t work at clubs without cheque books.

Tbh, this could be a blessing in disguise.
An absolute car crash could be the end of ENIC. Might make them actually consider their future. They are the biggest barrier now to success.
