wouldn't read too much into Parker being fav right now. Bookies seem to get away with it every time they pump a manager just before they're ruled out effectively.
EXACTLY!

People forget that gambling is an industry built on knowing how stupid people really are.

"Oh, wow, look everyone! Seems almost certain Parker is it. SHUT THE DOORS!!!"

Totally agree mate, we are fast becoming the new chelsea in the eyes of managers around the world, trigger happy with coaches, only difference with us is working on shoe string budgets is not how most top drawer managers want to operate.
Sorry but almost any manager in the world would go there because they will be backed to the moon and back with whatever they want.
Everyone knows they're gonna be working with at least one arm
I think it’s between Potter and Rangnick

Hopefully both, Rangnick as DOF would be our best signing in decades

Everyone said that when we brought Baldini in.
It doesn't matter. Levy will fuck it up whatever the structure.

Whoever gets the job is going to have to turn things around. I only hope that we give him time to do that.

Our scouting and recruitment system is dreadful. I know I keep saying it but our best signing would be a footballing DOF.
Question is would the new manager want one?
Would Levy appoint one?
If so, who would advise him on who to get?
We wont wait or at least some won’t wait. Who ever comes in is going to need to overhaul the squad whether that’s with or without out Kane but the big question is........what’s the main objective for fans we know what Levy’s is! Play football a certain way which is entertaining and enjoyable and see where it takes us or Levy backs his man and adopts a win at all costs no matter how we play to get a result long as we get one, what’s it to be the former will take time.

The main objective for me is to play good football, hopefully with trophies along the way.

Levy's main objective is to get top 4 every year regardless.
I still maintain that if you have a regular top 4 squad you should be capable of winning trophies along the way.

There has been a thread discussing Mourinho's potential replacement since the day after he was hired.

But now that a replacement seems much more imminent, here's a poll to measure who people actually want (based on options that actually seem somewhat realistic.)

* Means the option was added a day after the poll started based on the responses below (so some of the 'none of the above' votes may have been for one of the below options).

You're voting for who you want, not who you think Levy will pick.

UPDATE 27TH APRIL:
Nagelsmann had by far the most votes with over 45%, but now that he's going to Bayern the option has been removed. 'Keep Mourinho' option gone now too.
Rafael Benitez, imo, would bring stability to the dressing room. He brings a history of success and is able to establish a team starving for discipline, respect, self esteem and glory. He is not the young swashbuckling manager that some romantically wish for but more of the gardened warrior we require. The Leicester manager is good, yes, but too soft and does not have that Tottenham Hotspur Dare To Do attitude. Having said that, I cannot say that Benitez has the Dare To Do blog in him but he does have quality management experience. A manager of Rafa's supreme quality will be chomping at the bit to be back on to the world stage with a team he could help, again, rise to world fame. With Ryan Mason and Ledley King involved with the first team, as well, Benitez would soon learn the Tottenham way. Rafael Benitez, at 61 years he is wise, hard working, a brilliant football brain and would easily earn the respect of his team.

People said the same about Poch when we signed him

Who are you expecting? We aren’t exactly in the ballpark for Pep or Klopp are we
When Poch signed, I dare to say we were an EL club. Played only once in the Champions League and a few EL KO rounds and that’s about it. Few years forward and Poch truly put us on the map. A few of UCL football which culminated with the final, a couple of title challenges, great facilities, world class players.

We’ve got the unique oportunity to go and sign a top manager, instead we’re fucking around with has beens and Mr. xGs. Thinking of it, it’s like Liverpool would have signed Eddie Howe instead of Klopp a few years ago because he was overachieving with Bournemouth.

The sad thing is that the fans seem to accept and entertain this idea. We’ve missed two good managers already. I understand one of them was very difficult to get, but I don’t get why we didn’t pursue ten Hag more.

The sad thing is not just the quality / experience of managers we are considering or rumoured to be approaching but also the fact that we seemingly have to go to them instead of receiving lots of enquiries from top drawer people.

It's a sad indictment of Daniel Levy's reputation as Chairman and a huge indicator of where our problems truly lie.
Terrific post Mr. Voldemort Mr. Voldemort . Terrific I say.
Take a bow.

potter is by far the best and most attainable manager the club should go for. Ticks all the boxes. And he will be cheap and not demanding high wages which levy loves at well
Even if your hard on for Potter is justified Nabil, we'll be hamstrung in a few years as he becomes a victim of his own success.
If he achieves anything remotely comparable to Poch, he'll realise he's reached a ceiling and will call for more investment to reach his growing ambition.
When that investment ain't forthcoming, the wheels will fall off, Levy will sack him, and we'll start the whole process all over again

We had a regular top 4 squad and nothing
