Your right Spurs...you don't need Potter from Little old Brighton, what could he possibly bring to your club!....
...im more than happy to have him manage at Brighton. Klopp and Pep recognise what he's doing with Brightons squad...I wonder what he could do with yours? Potter wouldn't give a monkeys about some of your so called high earner egos, he's to educated for that. What he would bring is a brand of football you may enjoy watching! Tony Bloom is no idiot and that is why he extended Potters contract from a 3 year to a six year after just 3 months of him coming to club. If Levy has the balls to take the gamble and pay some serious compo then you will not be disappointed...if he doesn't, then thats fine by me!

So many managers turning us down. It shows what the real problem Levy is. Chosing Ajax or Leicester City over us is a clear indication of what Spurs is to any potential manager. A huge pain in the neck.

Levy is either keeping a masterclass secret by having a manager already agreed on or he is being his usual greedy self. We being linked to every El-Cheapo player available and will probably see 3 or 4 walking in our door. Which manager wants to walk into a team over which he has no say over players bought.

Only at Spurs.

We’ve one of the best strikers in Europe for now we‘ve been fed the “best stadium, facilities“ in the world yet we can’t attract top players or a half decent manager......there is summat up?

Do we really want pretty football in the bottom half of the league?
Would any of our rivals take a punt on Potter?
If Pep was run over by a bus, Klopp couldn't turn it around, Tuchel tonks, would any of those teams say "let's get him, he plays pretty passy passy football.
No they wouldn't. Not one of them.

Potter would be great if he were allowed to play the squad he'd like to. If Levy broke Jose, who is a seasoned expert in this department, imagine how he'd break Potter.

Dele, Ndombele, Davies, Aurier, Bergwjin and Bale wouldn't have been at Spurs today if Mo had his way. The Greed of Levy kept them there. Which potential Spurs manager would have watched this and thought, "That must be an Awesome Job to have."

Parker now firm favourite across all bookmakers. As short as 6/4 with betfair

Looks like we could be following the Woolwich model (Arteta) if it materialises

Cheap option. Former player and fan favourite. Yes man.
I don’t want Parker to be our manager (although the package of bring back his entire back room staff is appealing as there are at least 5 ex-Spurs in that group all highly rated at what they do and were with us for over a decade, so know the club inside out).

But why would he be the “cheap” option, if we wanted him we would have to buy him out of his contract, THST would cost £10m!!

Careful what you wish for then Matt...I remember you all getting excited by Jose the saviour, that worked out well!

I was full of trepidation with Mourinho. I fully understood the logic of his appointment. Had he had strong, intelligent defenders to work with he would have done better.
He was always destined to leave in a carcrash within 3 years.
Despite how much people hate him, we're still in with more of a chance of top 4 than man United are of winning the tittle but apparently that's not over yet.

It was right to get rid. It always is when the squad stops playing.

What none of the Mourinho haters have ever stopped to consider though is what if he was actually over achieving. What if without him, the likes of Dier, Dave, Davies, Winks, Lamela etc were actually worse. Imagine that scenario.

Football insider just 24hrs ago claimed were were tripling Rodgers wages of £10m, therefore meaning we were offering £30m pa!!!!

Are people actually taking anything written in the press seriously.

EDIT: Checks comments in thread, appears fans are taking every linked man very seriously.

:mourfacepalm:
Football Insider is the biggest pile of steaming crap out there. Clearly just make up any old rubbish. We won't be appointing Scott Parker who has managed for 2 years and is about to be relegated.

I do t have a problem with him being discussed, individually I wouldn’t consider him but as a package with his staff there is an appeal, but I freely admit my concerns at Spurs are greatest felt at the structure of us rather than a new manager.

But yeah, I simply cannot take anything seriously that is clearly spouting crap and/or contradictory stuff almost daily.

Who does?

Name just one person who did that.
I would ask you to qoute them, but we know now that you are unable to back up your statements with qoutes.
Clearly a retort to your childish nonsense in the post below

Yeah we did.

A squad good enough to reach numerous semi finals and finals, including the biggest club competition of them all and blew the lot.

Of course some will put all the blame on Levy which is unreasonable.
Who put all the blame on Levy for losing every semi final and final.

Quotes please. Lets see you back up your claims.

Have you not seen all the "we'll never win anything with Levy" posts.

We've been, numerous times, within touching distance of glory.

He never fails to let us down when glory is right there within touching distance.

Unless of course, you're saying that it's not all Levy's fault that we haven't won stuff?

Ten Hag would also have been a gamble. Ajax are set up as a club, they go about their business the same way whoever the manager is. Ten Hag has won them the title yes, but it’s very hard to judge him as a manager based solely on his history in the Dutch League.

Klopp had won the Bundesliga title with Dortmund, a far bigger indicator of his talents, before joining Liverpool. Ten Hag isn't proven, just as much of a gamble as Potter is in my book

We aren’t attractive to top managers, not to the point where they’d choose us over other clubs, so a Potter is about the best we can get at the moment

It’s just how it is, and it’s Levy’s fault
I disagree with this, Ten Hag has already built a reputation of being one of the best emerging managers who favors positional play, which is what’s successful in football these days. It’s no coincidence that he’s drawn interest of clubs like Juventus, Bayern or Leipzig.

Meanwhile, Potter’s only admirers are a Twitter account that keeps track of some useless xG stats and Nabil Bentaleb on this forum.

Lol Salami, you really need a hobby mate. As you're someone in your 80s, I'd really expect you to act with a little bit of dignity and maturity, instead of trying to hound someone called "Chicken Tonight" off a football forum. Let it go mate.

Well edited

“Let it go” he says just after calling me ‘Salami’ ffs
