Fonseca is the manager of Roma and is leaving at the end of the season.
OL's manager, Rudi Garcia is apparently going to Russia.
Poch won 19 league games with Southampton. Potter currently has 17 league wins with Brighton.Except that Poch was way, way more successful with Southampton than Potter has been with Brighton. Not in xG margin, actually winning actual games.
Southampton promoted into Premier League one season before Poch was appointed and finished 14th. They weren’t much better than this Brighton team. I think you lot underestimate Brighton for the sake of Potter. They have a couple of good CBs and Bissouma is probably one of the best CMs in the league.Given the squad quality, Potter is doing as well as Poch did at Soton. That team Poch had was quite good - much better than the majority of this Brighton squad. Poch maximized what he had available and Potter is getting outstanding performances out of this Brighton side.
They weren't.Southampton promoted into Premier League one season before Poch appointment and finished 14th. Doesn’t sound as if they were much different to Brighton.
Poch was only at Southampton 16 months wasnt he? Potter is 2 whole seasons at Brighton now.Poch won 19 league games with Southampton. Potter currently has 17 league wins with Brighton.
Poch won 4 cup games with Southampton, Potter has 5 cup game wins with Brighton.
Why?
The Southampton team poch had were only just promoted the season prior and had back to back promotions from League One...Given the squad quality, Potter is doing as well as Poch did at Soton. That team Poch had was quite good - much better than the majority of this Brighton squad. Poch maximized what he had available and Potter is getting outstanding performances out of this Brighton side.
Yep. Poch win ratio at Southampton 38.33% Potters at Brighton 25.9%. They are not similar i'm afraid.Southampton promoted into Premier League one season before Poch was appointed and finished 14th. They weren’t much better than this Brighton team. I think you lot underestimate Brighton for the sake of Potter. They have a couple of good CBs and Bissouma is probably one of the best CMs in the league.
Acting like Potter and Parker are the same level of manager is absurd.Ally Gold just had a live Q&A and of course Potter and Parker came up. He pretty much said that if Spurs end up with either, he feels like we will have not been ambitious enough. His point was Poch had Southampton at their highest finish in a long, long time and Parker and Potter have just been relegated or survived relegation. I have to say I agree.
I'd rather have Potter, but they're the same level of manager.Acting like Potter and Parker are the same level of manager is absurd.
I think I've probably changed my mind 4 times about the frontrunner, but now I think its Allegri.
Potter is so much more accomplished and experienced than Parker. In basically every single way, Potter is clearly better.I'd rather have Potter, but they're the same level of manager.
