I dont think we've ever been interested in Conte. Levy has been stung by Mourinho, hence the job description wanting a progressive manager etc. If it isn't Poch pretty sure it will be ten Hag but fart arse around too long and we could miss out on both and then we're getting into Martinez and Howe territory. This really needs to be sorted in the next week, transfer plans, pre season plans don't just miraculously start beginning of July.

Holy shit, if Conte want the job give him the fucking job, he can have about 200 million to spend from the sale of Kane and the ones what WE need rid of. Get us back up top then concentrate on the youth academy for Potter et al when Conte walks in 3 years time.

With Gold reporting that PSG has dug in their heels to block a move for Poch, its get a feeling we are back at square one. If a one year extension triggered by PSG has scared us away from Poch, then there is no way we will seriously move for ETH. What a total mess this has turned into.

Benitez is waiting in the shadows, and no I don't want him for manager, he'd be low down my list, but if the alternative is going to be Howe or Martinez, I put Benitez before those two. And please please please not Parker.

I suppose ETH would be a fair bit cheaper though I guess? agree it's a total mess we seem to be winging it without any kind of plan in place. Typical.

By all accounts they haven’t really dug their heels in - his contract was automatically extended by qualifying for the CL again.

We want him, we have to pay. That’s it really.

Is there some sort of legal framework that prevents Poch from resigning? Something like PSG taking him to court for quitting and re-joining Spurs immediately meaning we don't pay any money.

Certainly seems that if Levy wants to get Conte he's there to be had after the Ancelotti news. Also gives him more time to play footsie with PSG for Poch as I doubt Conte would go to Everton.

Conte to Spurs and Poch stays at PSG or Conte to PSG and Poch to Spurs seem to be highly likely outcomes.
