I think you completely missed the point. Levy Played the fans like a cheap fiddle. We heard Conté and everyone was excited. They renewed season tickets and it wasn't too long, Levy didn't want Conte because he wanted 3 staff extra at a cost of 3 Million Euros and 100 million for transfers (At least 50% could come from dead wood). It wasn't alot to ask concidering prize money would probably cover the difference.

Truth is Levy wanted a 4 million Manager who he could shunt around. Why do you think all our supposed targets turned us down?
Football is second in Levys Books.

Our very own version of WoolwichFanTV .

Whoever the idiot is, he needs to be punched into next Thursday.

Another self entitled twat who thinks writing a cheque is the answer.

It's pure guesswork on Conte, speculation and innuendo.

Believe whatever you want to but there is no way that the club could afford Conte, let alone his persona and infrastructure demands be they made up fantasy from the MSM or truth.

Regarding the video, a pile of WoolwichFanTV regurgitated misinformed guff spouted by a halfwit.

Even worse if Levy knew Conté was never on our radar. He allowed the Fans to be taken for a joke. If he was such a big fan and he had nothing to do with the rumour, why didn't he open his mouth and have a nice interview let us know the truth.

He is a serial liar. He only cares about his pockets. Season tickets fills his pockets.

I thought in his video he stated something like "some of the applicants mentioned in the media never applied, or were ever approached"?

I don't see a better option than Fonseca out of the remaining available managers....

I would still support the team if Campbell was manager but I think he'd be the worst option on the list, worse than Parker, worse than Southgate.

I think Fonzie is genuinely a good manager for us, I want him out of who seems to be available, I think some posters are against Fonseca because they think it's just Levy being a tight cunt.

I think he's good, I think Levy or our DoF has made a good choice considering we can't afford Conte etc etc... I now want Fonzie to be our manager, I want to support him and the board/DoF with that choice, I think it's a good choice.

I'm not on this anything but a renowned world class manager is a failure, if anything Fonzie is quite like Poch. It's not his fault that Roma didn't support him.

If he comes to Spurs with boos and hisses, and fails, well, that's just what the boo'rs deserve, but please don't fuck it up for those of us who want him and want to display our support for a realistically good choice.

Concentrate on the . dot in the middle

and repeat

We are impoverished. We have no money. Fonseca is all that we can afford.

Fonseca is therefore the right choice. Fonseca is the best choice.

Thank you Daniel Levy for delivering Paulo Fonseca . We are so lucky to be blessed with your presence and your judgement.

Do you think fans would not renew their season tickets because Fonseca is the manager?

You don't like the chairman, you don't like the stadium. you don't want the manager, you're unhappy with the team.

What makes you think Levy is worse than the last chairman or the next one will be any better?

I'm not just blindly supporting Fonseca's appointment because it's the right thing to do as a Spurs fan. I want us to be a possession based attacking team.

Our goal next season is probably now Europa cup position. Maybe CL position the year after. I don't care what the Gooners do, I just want to see an upward turn and good football, and for us to creep back up the PL. I'm not expecting Fonseca to come in and we start thrashing everyone.

I guess his option for 3rd year extended contract is for us to be either winning a domestic trophy or be in CL position at the end of the season after the forthcoming one.
Agree.

This is the most difficult league in the world. You stand a better chance of winning Champions League than EPL. Not likely to challenge in the next 3 years.

Put in place a system that produces or purchase top class youth, output the next young Rose, Walker, Dele, Kane, at least one every year.

The prices of season tickets are high and the level f success is low, We have been through a pandemic , where some will have saved money , but many will have lost their jobs. It will take time but eventually ticket sales will fall if things remain on the same path. Certainly people won’t bother going to a number of games. Look how we take the piss out of Woolwich match day numbers. The club will certainly lose matchday spend.
I have renewed and will likely continue to do so, but I am older , my family have grown up, my expenses have diminished, I am lucky, many younger people and those with families are under extreme pressure.

Agreed, we ought not be charging more than Chelsea for tickets. I think they're about £600 less than Spurs. Maybe Levy did use Conte for that reason, I guess he saw it as a business opportunity.

Let's pretend Levy leaves the club today and Joe Lewis sells up, do you think who buys the club and the new chairman are going to reduce ticket prices?

Unless it's some multi-billionaire who throws away money for fun, it's not going to happen. I don't think we'll see a Conte level manager here until the stadium has been paid off and it starts making a profit, and the loans that were taken for the pandemic issue.

So it's going to be NFL, Guns & Roses, Lady Gaga, and a stadium sponsor's name.

Maybe your best option is to do what I do, don't buy a ticket and watch on tv instead. if Levy can't fill the stadium that's his problem not ours, and just go watch a smaller local team if you like going to matches.

Just noticed that Conte and Poch are currently running neck & neck in the poll (114 votes each). Getting exciting, isn't it? Too close to call.

"Who do you want most as our next manager"

20 people now voting for the bum at the bottom of the pile who just got sacked to make way for the guy WE just sacked.

You honestly couldn't make this shit up. Spurs fans really are a strange lot.

No, i dont suppose some other multi billionaire would drop ticket prices but they might give us a product on the pitch that reflects those prices. Not the highest in the land for upper mid table product. Maybe they'd see us as a football club not a vehicle for property development. Oh and one mans business opportunity is another mans con trick.
