Neither do I. Just sounds like another stick to beat us with if you ask me. There’s no way, with what we know of levy, that he agrees to such a clause in a contract for that to happen.
So what happens to the money he is owed? He rejected the 8m compensation. And Roma arent that rich to pay him 15m a year . So the rest of the money obviously is being paid by spurs.

If someone else is ready to pay him some of it, levy would jump at the chance of not having to pay out all the money himself.

Why wouldn't it be true? All the info we have suggests we owed Mourinho 16 million. He could have sat on his arse and got that over the next two years. And we know Mourinho is highly money orientated. This way he gets his money and we save 8 million or so. What this does show is how much we overpaid Mourinho by. He's only been able get half what we paid him.

I just can see why we'd make up the difference, it just makes no sense from our perspective to agree to that. It isn't our fault Roma cant pay him the same amount.

Is my first choice, he was certainly the game changer at Leipzig. Get him as director of football but allow him to manage 1 or 2 seasons and get the fundamentals/ideas across with the players and at the club, then can easily slip in backroom role. It was done successfully at Leipzig.
I seriously think our number one priority should be Ragnik as D.O.F and Potter as head coach. Lets get a proper plan in place. With the priority in my humble opinion being win the league.

I wouldn’t turn my nose up the guy, but I genuinely don’t see the big appeal of Rodgers. Yes he’s a safe bet as he’s PL proven but isn’t that just it?
Let’s not pretend that he’s managed shit squads in the past, and that his managerial talent alone to them to top 4.
We’ve more or less got an idea of where we’d end up, better than our current predicament, but I dont see him as a miracle worker either.

Not saying Potter would be that guy, but thinking about what he could do with a decent squad is a lot more exciting, albeit more of an unknown.

Maybe they need a guy like Rodgers to bring some certainty back in the club, but I’d be lying if I said the unknown doesn’t seem appealing.

Jose’s cv looked good too

I’d sooner have a younger manager and both Potter and Parker fit the Bill
That's fair, Sarri's football isn't as dated though. It's more his personality and temperament that would worry me. I think he'd probably get us playing good football and give us a decent chance next year.

I don't think you necessarily have to get in a manager now that will be here for 4/5 years though, if Sarri can come in and get you good league finishes and compete in a few cups for a year or two, well how bad?

I don't see anything in how Fulham play to suggest Parker would be a good appointment.

Difficult to gauge for Parker with the Fulham Squad and they gave us a good game earlier

It would be nice to have a young ambitious English manager for a change!

He looks like he might eat people the way he licks his teeth and lips.

I agree and I can’t really put my finger on it but I feel uncomfortable when he’s being interviewed and never fancied him for us!
Nothing to do with the Tranny rumours but just something about his manner I don’t like
Who the fuck is abbyautopsy abbyautopsy ???

Just joined on 27 April and first post giving me a disagree?

Morning Sammy

We agreed to pay Jose Mourinho X amount of money for Y amount of years.
We broke the terms of that agreement by relieving him of his duties. He is entitled, legally, to continue to receive the benefit of that contracted amount. There is no doubt a clause whereby any money received in the future will be netted off of what we owe.
Fairly simple contract law really.
