Bournemouth did not play good football. They were quite a negative, defensive side with truly crap attacking play.

You're entitled to your opinion, and I respect that, but I am not willing to accept any defensive, non-attacking managers. And apparently, neither is the club. So, Nuno isn't happening, and Dyche is emphatically not happening. Burnley does not have a lower championship budget either. Let's not exaggerate. Burnley are spending an order of magnitude more than the lower half of the Championship.
Burnley have won more games than brighton this year. Potter has won 8 games from 34 this year. Wolves play some very good football as do burnley at times. My point is if we are looking at managers that are in the bottom 8 of the league there are others there with better credentials than a couple of seasons with 8 or 9 wins from 38. Bournemouth conceded a lot but before that last season they had a good go and attacked sides but they at least managed a top 10 finish. He's not shown for me anything over a period of time that he's up to this job.

Well, for me, he has, between Sweden and Brighton, and Burnley and Wolves have not played nice stuff. We’re just going to have to agree to disagree because we have no common ground here.

Cannot understand why Potter is SO popular.
smug GIF

Yeah but why don't we hire someone with a good CV?

Like, I buy that Brighton have had just poor luck to not have better results this season, and that xG reflects that.

But....that's the best argument? We're going to hire a guy because advanced stats say his relegation fodder team isn't THAT bad?

If playing swashbuckling expansive football across multiple divisions to no particular effect is our criteria, Ian Holloway would be happy to take the job, I'm sure.
Alex Ferguson was a relative unknown when he went to Man Utd that didn’t turn out too bad for them did it?

Maybe some of us can see something very special in Potter and his methods are second to none in modern day football plus he sets his sides up to deal with anything because he can adapt to any situation

We were in a different place to where we are now in many ways.
We barely had a single player in the squad we wanted to keep badly. We'd barely every been in the CL. We were still at WHL and not close to the new stadium. We could afford to gamble then.

I think the pressure is on now to hire someone with some status in the game.
Like Jose Mourinho?????

Lol 😂😂😂

Give over pal!!!!!!!

Potter is Taylor made for this job at this club.

He'd won the League and the Uefa Cup with Aberdeen before hadn't he? Not quite unknown...
