What appeals about Inzaghi is that he would seem to be well suited to our squad (Immobile = Kane, wingbacks, likes to press, etc), but what remains disappointing is that I'm exactly as qualified to render that opinion as Levy is, it's superficial.

As long as he doesn't bring the brother with him. I never liked that guy, one of the worst goal-hangers ever. He made Lineker look like Messi.
Total opposite, he and that Milan side playing big European nights at the San Siro were the height of cool when I was first getting into football.

The world's most Italian looking man sipping on a cappuccino for 89 1/2 minutes, but there he would pop up in the big moments.

My first memories of Milan were the imperious team of 88-90 with Van Basten and Gullit up front.

So to see that rodent Inzhagi goal-hanging for them subsequently was a bit of a downer for me.

I cannot think of another person I'd rather watch an Amazon doco on managing Spurs than The HitchuationTM.

Perhaps Big Sam?

But following Hitchen as he rolls out of bed drunk every morning and has to get dragged to work like Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now would be ace.

Whilst he will always rightly be concidered Spurs rather than that mob you could add Hoddle as another that Levy appointed who had managed Chavs first.

Yeah, at the end of the day the identity of the next manager just really isn't that pertinent to the direction of the club.

It's about what the squad looks like in ~18 months time. The idea of us competing for top four could be a permanently distant memory by then if there isn't remarkable and lavishly financed management of the squad between now and then. The Poch Miracle is on the verge of going up in smoke with nothing to show for it.

Yep, it’s definitely much more likely we continue this downward trend than buck it. See Woolwich for who we are sleepwalking towards as a club.
