You can't fuck your managerial appointment up if you don't make one.

We've got more money and i wouldn't be surprised if we get Potter

Lewis don’t spend his money on us and a lot of our money is tied up in deadwood players and their wages like Sissoko, Aurier, Winks, Davies, Sanchez, Dele etc who Levy won’t sell unless he gets an over the top fee.

As for Potter his football is class given the players he has, him or Ten Hag I could live with, I would be far more worried if Martinez or Howe became the main choice given their teams are always soft.

Liverpool have already signed a CB and are apparently close on both Daka (promising young striker) and Rafinha, so yeah, "really"
And as I tried to point out, any new manager coming in will have to wait until post-Euro to really do that work, so to us it makes no odds.

Liverpool have had the same manager for what? 5 years? Easy to get on with business with that being the case.

With us theres little to be done until the squad can be assessed and plans enacted - IE after the Euros

It's easier to do business if you have a team in place, yes, that's true. You know what makes for harder/worse business though? Fucking around for more and more time.

Every day we wait to appoint a manager is less time that manager has to prepare for signings and the new season. It's less time for the footballing department to work with the manager to identify players. It also means more and more players are unavailable for us to recruit since they've already been recruited by other teams.

Liverpool are not the only side making signings either, it was just an example.

You're out to lunch if you don't think us still not having a manager is hurting out summer planning and recruitment.

And how is all that squad planning supposed to work when you dont have the squad to assess/look over/work with/find out whats what?

Any manager will walk into an empty training ground right now. How are they to know who they want to keep? Who are the good characters and bad apples? Who fits the ethos....?

Gold in his live chat on the manager:

Mauricio Pochettino is the top choice but how gettable he is depends on whether the Argentine makes a real push to get out of PSG and also his relationship with Leonardo will define matters. Tottenham aren't giving up yet but they can't hang around forever. I know Erik ten Hag is another manager Spurs really like and Antonio Conte will certainly be an attractive option. He's a terrific manager and available without compensation, but the question for Spurs would be just how much he can achieve without the huge financial backing he's had elsewhere. We can all dream, but the reality is that he won't get those hundreds of millions to spend at Tottenham and if that's the case how frustrated would he get and how quickly? Conte's average is about two years at each club and that's with a lot of money to shape his teams how he wanted them. He left Inter because they couldn't financially back him any more. I think he's one of the best managers in the world but would he and this current Tottenham be a good fit without the proper funding?

Football players actually play football you know? Those matches also happen to be recorded and, get this, you can even watch the recordings! Training is just one small part of analyzing a footballer.

By your logic, it's amazing transfers ever happen because how are these coaches supposed to analyze other players without being able to watch them train!

Fucking hell, we need to just get over Poch as a club. It's honestly a bit embarrassing.

They just need to come on here in some of the match day threads and it’s obvious who they should be getting rid off! Maybe even ready the summer transfer thread
As can get some real gems suggested
There

A lot of words for "I have nothing to report".
