Things always happen when Ally Gold takes time off. Announcement in the next 48 hours guaranteed.
And as I tried to point out, any new manager coming in will have to wait until post-Euro to really do that work, so to us it makes no odds.Liverpool have already signed a CB and are apparently close on both Daka (promising young striker) and Rafinha, so yeah, "really"

It's a bit like the transfer windows.
The Levy way. The cunt never learns does he ? The fan base literally on the brink of collapse on their relationship with the Spurs powers that be, yet Levy is still poncing around. Just incredible. It's a bit like the transfer windows.
Let everyone else do their business first, then sniff around the scraps and see whats left at the end
It's easier to do business if you have a team in place, yes, that's true. You know what makes for harder/worse business though? Fucking around for more and more time. And as I tried to point out, any new manager coming in will have to wait until post-Euro to really do that work, so to us it makes no odds.
Liverpool have had the same manager for what? 5 years? Easy to get on with business with that being the case.
With us theres little to be done until the squad can be assessed and plans enacted - IE after the Euros
And how is all that squad planning supposed to work when you dont have the squad to assess/look over/work with/find out whats what? It's easier to do business if you have a team in place, yes, that's true. You know what makes for harder/worse business though? Fucking around for more and more time.
Every day we wait to appoint a manager is less time that manager has to prepare for signings and the new season. It's less time for the footballing department to work with the manager to identify players. It also means more and more players are unavailable for us to recruit since they've already been recruited by other teams.
Liverpool are not the only side making signings either, it was just an example.
You're out to lunch if you don't think us still not having a manager is hurting out summer planning and recruitment.
Football players actually play football you know? Those matches also happen to be recorded and, get this, you can even watch the recordings! Training is just one small part of analyzing a footballer. And how is all that squad planning supposed to work when you dont have the squad to assess/look over/work with/find out whats what?
Any manager will walk into an empty training ground right now. How are they to know who they want to keep? Who are the good characters and bad apples? Who fits the ethos....?
Fucking hell, we need to just get over Poch as a club. It's honestly a bit embarrassing.Gold in his live chat on the manager:
Mauricio Pochettino is the top choice but how gettable he is depends on whether the Argentine makes a real push to get out of PSG and also his relationship with Leonardo will define matters. Tottenham aren't giving up yet but they can't hang around forever. I know Erik ten Hag is another manager Spurs really like and Antonio Conte will certainly be an attractive option. He's a terrific manager and available without compensation, but the question for Spurs would be just how much he can achieve without the huge financial backing he's had elsewhere. We can all dream, but the reality is that he won't get those hundreds of millions to spend at Tottenham and if that's the case how frustrated would he get and how quickly? Conte's average is about two years at each club and that's with a lot of money to shape his teams how he wanted them. He left Inter because they couldn't financially back him any more. I think he's one of the best managers in the world but would he and this current Tottenham be a good fit without the proper funding?
I don't think Madrid can spend that kind of money on a player they aren't dead sure about, and the buyback option lasts another year doesn't it?Wonder if Ancelotti going back to Madrid impacts a potential return for Bale, and Reguilon having the buyback clause in his move?
They just need to come on here in some of the match day threads and it’s obvious who they should be getting rid off! Maybe even ready the summer transfer threadAnd how is all that squad planning supposed to work when you dont have the squad to assess/look over/work with/find out whats what?

A lot of words for "I have nothing to report".Gold in his live chat on the manager:
