We need a DoF, have done for ages but just because we are now linked to one I fail to see why people are getting excited about it owing to the fact they know absolutely fuck all about him. (I include myself in that).
Yeah, myself included. Never heard of him and from what I can see, he's not a 'rebuild' type of DoF, he's more a money-manager type and that's why I think it's a scream-buffer for Conte.

What a Conte.

Daniel Levy just a few weeks ago...

We shall focus on the recruitment of a new Head Coach. We are acutely aware of the need to select someone whose values reflect those of our great Club and return to playing football with the style for which we are known – free-flowing, attacking and entertaining – whilst continuing to embrace our desire to see young players flourish from our Academy alongside experienced talent.

That does not describe Conte. What a fucking mess
Ditching this manager profile for Conte is at least justifiable compared to ditching it for Jose Mourinho.

I'm all over this.

Bye bye Dele, Winks, Aurier, Sissoko don't let the door hit you on the way out. Will be a joy to watch Conte finish what Mourinho started and weed out the wasters.

No idea who the DoF is but he's obviously better than Hitchen.

Lloris
Tanganga Toby Anderson
Lucas -- Hojberg -- Lo Celso -- Reguilon
Bale -- Kane -- Son
Lucas/Bergjwin to be our Victor Moses - finally found a position for the pair of them.

Just had one of my Italian mates (Juve fan) what's app me, I asked him if he any good, told he's a disaster on the commercial activity (contracts & finance), his strengths lie in scouting. That's all I've got.

Pessimism has swamped me today, a visit to Sly Sports News (sorry Man City PR TV) has driven my last bit of Bob Bradley appointment optimism off a cliff.

Everton taking 24 hours to identify and interview while Levy is taking 50 + days to cock it all up, I know that’s unlikely to have been the full time line, but we do leave ourselves looking daft by reacting to the market all the time rather than being proactive.

While sliding into the pits of misery, I started to think about Woolworths - weird I know and why the connection ?

Well in the end Woolworths had too much debt, failed to read their market, failed in key areas of staffing and failed to get the big decisions right. The huge debts hampered any potential recovery scheme and under it went. Despite many loyal customers wanting to drive sales, there was nothing left worth saving.

Applying the same logic to Spurs and potentially, does logic suggests that maybe it’s time to shut up shop ourselves ?

We are not competing in the market place. Our board are making awful (or worse no) recruiting decisions, seemingly to save money, and when was their last “big” decision actually right rather than fluke? And the clubs debt levels are unprecedented (in football terms)

Even the Midland bank would never have imagined Spurs could shift from £10m debt in 91 to £1billion in the shit within 30 years.

A future that involves Roberto Martinez on a list of potential coaches to get Sissoko firing makes me ask - What is the f ing point of this ?

Is nostalgia better than this continuous limp towards nowhere. Dodging trophies and success while nicking property off the local poorer folk. What the fuck did we become and how did we get here ? :levyeyes:Is Spurs going to be better off closed for business than keep on this rinse and repeat doom loop ?
