Doherty is not great but he worked in a system built to his strengths at Wolves.
What's Conte like with Eriksen? Are they pals yet? Cos if so, maybe he might come back, but if they're not buddies, then there's no hope Eriksen returns...

It doesn’t really work like that though does it? There’s no point for City in swapping one great player for another. That’s just standing still and losing money.
To be honest, if he goes anywhere in England, I’d rather it be City because they are already light years ahead of us. He goes to any of our other rivals and he makes much more of a difference to us/them dynamic (at least if he stays fit for two or three years).
I’m not sure who they’d let us have who I’d get excited about, but Bernardo Silva would be one? Laporte and Mendy would be others I’d take that would solve big issues for us.
