Given Levy's reputation, Conte has probably gone in extremely high hoping to get to where he really wants to be. He was making 10m euros a year at inter. Seems like that is something we could easily match
Jose was on 15 a year and Poch on around 12-15 when he got sacked.

We can easily get him on somewhere between 10 and 15 a year. Last week the word was that he wanted 17 or something like that. So you are probably correct.

I just think, at a fundamental level, we have to demand they give us a player that weakens them, as well.

Jesus they don’t use and Sterling they can get off their wage bill.

It’s bullshit. You want one of the best strikers in the world City, then give us your best too.

It doesn’t really work like that though does it? There’s no point for City in swapping one great player for another. That’s just standing still and losing money.

To be honest, if he goes anywhere in England, I’d rather it be City because they are already light years ahead of us. He goes to any of our other rivals and he makes much more of a difference to us/them dynamic (at least if he stays fit for two or three years).

I’m not sure who they’d let us have who I’d get excited about, but Bernardo Silva would be one? Laporte and Mendy would be others I’d take that would solve big issues for us.

Daniel Levy just a few weeks ago...

We shall focus on the recruitment of a new Head Coach. We are acutely aware of the need to select someone whose values reflect those of our great Club and return to playing football with the style for which we are known – free-flowing, attacking and entertaining – whilst continuing to embrace our desire to see young players flourish from our Academy alongside experienced talent.

That does not describe Conte. What a fucking mess
Yup. 100%
But there are season ticket renewals to sell....

Oh hello! We've been here before haven't we. I was wondering what would come first. Wage demands, Agent fees or third party issues

Can we just appoint Roy Hodgson and be done with it? I can't take this merry-go-round anymore.

Roy's available and has lots of league experience. Speaks the language... lives in London. And affordable. Likes walks in the park and reading crime thrillers...
