Trippier also produces more than Walker ever did per game.

It may be worth taking into consideration that Davies' production in terms of goals and assists is better than we've ever seen from Rose. And imo he is the better defender of the two, although he may have more difficulty in 1v1s against quick attackers.
But a second striker won't help with the Kane problem. He's such an important player in the team, in the squad, for the club, that he will play those games no matter who our other striker is. No manager that I can think of would put Kane on the bench through a poor spell because they know he can suddenly turn it around and get a hattrick.
What you envision and argue for is unrealistic.
The lunatics and for ever deluded told me Trippier is better than Walker.
Davis is more consistent than an inform Rose.
The insane told me Sanchez is better than our Belgian premier first 11 player .
Even the imbeciles sang that Townsend was Bales replacement
Dembele was as gifted as Modric.
We we will not buy anyone as good as what we had or got , but many pay those record season tickets and can rejoice in a wonderful cheese room , champagne and oyster bar , truffle bistro, new wave Scandinavian dining etc.
Never mind the bollocks
He doesn't care. As long as we get rid of Levy and bankrupt the club he will be happy. The worth of a football club is how much money it spends; sadly, he is partially right. It's just a shame we lose that game
Third best defence in the country, without Toby, a 21yr old in his first ever top flight season outside of Holland and with Lloris having his worst season in five years....keep ignoring it though to the spin the popular narrative. It is so blindingly obvious our full backs are our weak link I cannot believe people would disagree with this?
Funny how everyone is shouting to upgrade that position, but no one has posted any replacements so far.
Davies is a fantastic player. As I already mentioned, I don't think Rose will ever be back at his best. Sessegnon and Tagliafico are not bad, but not better than Davies at LB.
And at RB... Aurier will still be great for us. Trippier is a good RB too, just not against the top teams. Coleman, really?
Same shit over and over. Bale's first few games when he arrived as a defender went absolutely great, didn't they? They´ll demand Sessengon, and when they realise he is a child who has never played in the PL ever, in his entire life, they will demand an upgrade and ask why we didnt sign a seasoned pro

We have other problems, and it's not the full backs.

Maybe Jan is superman after all
Think full backs are definitely a problem.
Can't really play 3 at the back successfully because our wing backs aren't wing backs. Davies and Trippier don't like getting forward or beating a man and when they do, they only go back and pass to the likes of Eriksen, Dembele or Dier.
Can play a back four, but still, they don't offer any outlet because when they get the ball, the crosses are either hit and hope or they pass backwards in an attempt to keep the ball. There is no bravery or aggression there. Not saying Davies isn't brave or aggressive as he has shown he is that when he puts a foot in, but in terms of attacking he's neither.
Aurier has potential in the sense that he's aggressive, relatively quick and with confidence and the right coaching is likely to attack and take on his man. Whilst his crossing is a little poor, getting himself into attacking positions and providing that outlet will cause enough problems.
It really is sad to see that we've gone from the two best wing backs in the Premier League in Walker and Rose and ended up with Trippier and Davies. Again, that's not criticising either player because they're good solid players but its meant we've tried playing the same way with inferior footballers. It's like selling Eriksen and starting Lamela (instead of buying a proper replacement) because Lamela has a bit of guile about him and can get assists.
It's no surprise that media outlets have stated we are actively scouting a left back. We need one. Preferably someone who's very quick and not afraid to attack. Pochettino will probably give Aurier one more season to see how he adapts to a pre-season, fitness regime and our style of play. Though I hope KWP also gets some games as he fits the criteria.
Priority this summer though will be:
1. CM
2. FB
3. CB
I think we'll sign a player in each one of those positions. Probably not at right back with Aurier, Trippier and KWP but we'll definitely be signing a left back, definitely a central midfielder and with Alderweireld likely to be off a centre back too.
