We need another creative midfielder that's what we fucking need. We rely too much on Eriksen to find a through pass, the rest of them move the ball around from one side to another hoping for the best, when Eriksen's out of form we're shit.

As opposed to Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies who have both been here 3 years and could only establish themselves as starters when either injuries occurred or we got rid of the superior players in their position.

Davies has been part of two of our best ever unbeaten runs since the PL began, and I will ask again, why did nobody want new full backs in January?

Try to remember we were unbeaten in the league from that window right up until 9 days ago. Three and a half months.
Did you want new full backs after we beat Woolwich, Utd and Chelsea? Or drew at Anfield and in Turin?
Whats changed? Losing to City and Utd, games in which the attack, and the keepers were the bigger problem.

5 years of crap? Your maths is mistaking you. Its 2 years and those were under AVB and Sherwood.
Because new full backs mid way through the season was unlikely to happen. I'd much have preferred Rose to get back to his old self and Aurier performing at a reasonable level.
I'd want new full backs regardless of results. We have a good team. The team is the reason we beat those teams. Not specifically our full backs.
I'll support Davies and Trippier because they're Spurs. They are categorically our worst players in our starting eleven and I'd want to improve our first eleven so that we can continue to compete.
You seem to think that what we've achieved is because we have Davies and Trippier. When it's not. They're still rotated because Pochettino doesn't trust them to play every single week against certain teams or players. Yet we achieved alot better league wise with better full backs who were part of a better system and plan.
Losing to City and United is nothing to do with it. Losing them games were because we have a manager who struggles in game management or highlighting opponents weaknesses. He'll learn.

We upgrade on them and then what....suddenly Wanyama is the “worst player”.....sell. Upgrade.

We upgrade on them because they're the weakest part of our team.
Who called them crap? A defence is alot more than four players sitting at the back. Hence why Burnley have conceded just 1 more goal than us, with Lowton, Mee, Tarkowski and Ward making up that back four.
In fact, our defensive record this year is likely to end up the worst its been since 2014/2015. So I don't know if we could use our defensive record as a defence for our full backs.
You have to keep Improving or you go backwards in this league. We can easily improve our full backs so why wouldn't we want to do that? Infact it would be insanity not too. Every other top 6 club will be improving in the summer so we ought to too? Don't you think?
Well you are saying our defense record isnt good, at the same time you say defending goes way beyond the backline.
So are you blaming the full backs or not? We defend from the front or middle, and as I said in an earlier post, we keep losing the middle of the pitch, so why are Tripper and Davies being called the weakest links and Dier and Dembele given a free pass to go walk abouts, leaving them exposed

You posted our defensive record as a way of praising our full backs. I told you that a) our defensive record is the worst its been in 3 years and b) defence is based on team not 4 players.
I wasn't the one blaming the full backs for our defensive record. But you were the one praising them for it.
Dembele and Dier can be improved on. There is a reason they're at Spurs and not at a club competition for all trophies. Dembele is likely to be replaced in the summer and we performed alot better last season with a fully fit Wanyama playing ahead of Dier. We already have Wanyama so that's not a priority.
Full backs will change next year. That's a given. The ones we have aren't good enough and Pochettino absolutely knows it. However, as I've said across two different threads NUMEROUS times. Central midfield is priority.

Trippier and Davies are good honest lads who both give 100% and do get forward
Problem is that usually they don’t know what to do when they get there
They generally receive the ball in a good position wide and should whip it in the box for Harry to get decent service but all too often they don’t and pass it backwards or inside and several passes later we’ve lost any chance of creating anything
Squad players at their very best
Aurier might make it if Poch can get to him
Sessegnon is a good prospect but that’s all at the moment

This place is so full of pathetic fucking melts and honestly our club deserves better "fans" than this. We finish above the scum down the road finally, we make a habit of it in fact, and all you guys can do is melt because we won't be winning the FA cup... Just like 19 other teams in the leagues and every team in the leagues below them. The entitlement among football fans these days is pathetic and really hammers home why I've stopped watching the last two seasons.
The problem with that is in recent games any first time ball into the box would have found the box sans Kane. You can’t cross to someone who isn’t there.
