Got a Canuck here that needs some education, is there ANY profit sharing in PL so as to level the playing field for all teams?

We have MLS here, quality is generally still pretty poor but profit sharing means that A: teams stay alive (not such an issue there) B: anyone can be competitive.

Heck, Houston is going to the finals and the sad thing is I bet half the city doesnt know they have a team.

The TV deal is kinda profit sharing because a side like Swansea couldn't get close to the tv deal that the established sides get, let alone MUFC. For La Liga every team that's not Barcelona and Real Madrid are fucked. Not sure if you watch college football, but it's kinda like Big 12 vs. SEC

Agree with this. Its the reason why Liverpool should not get away with negotiating their own rights. All that'll happen is the big clubs will get bigger and the small clubs - well there won't be much point to them.
