Can someone explain to me why, the other year, the England team were banned from wearing poppies on their shirts, in a long accepted and nationwide rememberance of those who gave their lives for our freedom, because it was considered that political / social gestures had no place in sport and yet now the knee taking and socio-political messages on their shirts is now perfectly acceptable?

Racism is a learned behaviour. It's small minds thinking, wrongly, that you're better than someone cos of who you were born to and where you were born.

It's always been there. It's just been emboldened recently by the actual divisive politicians, etc who have made it seem that it's ok to be racist and hate others.

The more it's called out, the quicker people will realise it's not acceptable.
