Go ahead and trust FM. It's just because English players probably "never" get produced abroad that one can assume that an English player is HG. Fryers I was not positive about, butWindyCOYS has cleared that up.
Unlike Sigurdsson, who is classed as HG because he was in Reading's academy from 2005.

Since this is the released/retained list, I'm pretty sure most would want these replaced. Unless of course you have lost the argument where you will pretty much just say anything apart from I had a point. And I'm sure nobody cried when Defoe left. 1 prem goal in a calendar year will do that for you.
