Give me Frank or Silve tomorrow for the foreseeable future. Any idea of getting back to where we were during the Poch days is well and truly over. We need steady hands to rebuild the club and get us back to CONSISTENTLY finishing in the top 8.

The threat of relegation is real. Very real. I think we'll pick up more points than So'ton, Ipswich & Leicester but even the fact we're here talking about it in January speaks volumes about the state of the club and what an absolutely catastrophic job ENIC and Levy have done over the past 25 years, especially the last 6 or 7. Fuck whatever LP and his fellow club stooges think.

That's what happens when your primary (sole?) focus is the business, turning the club into a property & entertainment company, and filling your boots in the process.

Absolutely ludicrous decision to appoint Ange, the man was never ever good enough. How many manager sackings?! Including BMJ at half time, serial winner Jose 4 days before a possible trophy. Also...from Poch to Jose to Nuno to Conte to Ange?! Where's the fucking strategy & consistency?! Backing...you give the most clueless manager we've ever had 300mil to spend, but Poch got nobody for 18 months, Jose got Rodon, Conte got Djed (who's been excellent this year)?!

Bringing in a known criminal in Paratici and still using him during his ban. Then appointing Munn...only for it to be delayed for months. Then Lange who seems to do & know fuck all...when Michael Edwards was gettable iirc. And well...hummm...Steve fucking Hitchen.

Shambolic signing after shambolic signing...Ndombele, LoCelso, Bissouma, Richarlison...and that's going back just 3 or 4 years to spare Levy blushes. But we all know the list is that long it rivals the friggin Bible. Let's not even mention the zillion great players we missed out on cause Levy haggled over 34p. But yeah Rivaldo sent us a lovely letter...you'll never sing that.

The level of incompetence is unreal. And the man is still in the job. Any other walk of life and he'd have been fired a heck of an age ago. And he'd never have worked in the field again.

In better news, Ipswich losing 0-2 at home to Citeh after half an hour. We’ll remain 8 points above the relegation places tonight. De facto 9 with the goal difference. The 24 points we’ve amassed already might be enough to stay up.
 
Realistically we need 4 wins and a draw or two. We can't count on any wins away, so it has to be from:

Leicester home
Southampton home
United home
Palace home

If we win next week I think we'll just about get it done. Lose or draw next week and it's big trouble.
