It's a very legit concern tbh. The decisionmakers have got almost everything wrong on the football side for years now so there's no evidence they'll suddenly get it right.
The one positive is, regardless of what happens, Johan Lange will be kicked to the curb the second the season ends and he's seemingly been hugely influential in our football and transfer decisions over the past 3 years.
If we can get someone competent in to replace him (big if, admittedly) that does change things dramatically behind the scenes if Vinai/ the board put their trust in them and the manager to do the rebuild.

The club means everything to us, it means absolutely nothing but a number to our owners. It just doesn’t sit right with me at all, they want Levy’s shares and whilst I don’t think relegation was the plan, I think the institution can stomach a drop to the championship if they see the long term goal of getting the shares and returning to the premier league
Levy was sacked in September but I doubt they did it all of a sudden. There would have been issues brewing for a while and it’s why Levy did the sky sports interview and mentioned about being missed when he’s gone - he probably knew was was on the horizon and wanted to improve his image beforehand
None of what I’m saying is actually that crazy when you just remember we’re a business and a multi billion pound one at that
They probably viewed the Son situation as he was a youngster when the club bought him so let's try and repeat that.
I think it's possible Vinai survives, but Lange will go 1000%. He's the head of the football side and the one who has failed to build a coherent squad, recommended the wrong managers and completely fudged January.
He's so obviously going to be the human shield the board will use (and Vinai will try to use) to soak up the blame the end of the season.
Think maybe they do the same with Vinai and just start fresh but he's newer and the CEO isnt meant to be the one signing players and building the squad in our new, more modern, structure (Levy was v.old school) so I think he might worm his way out and pin it all on Lange.
I cannot see us going to a decent in form team and putting in a performance like Leeds last night? It definitely will not happen if he keeps picking Udogie,Solanke,Muani,Gallagher.

What DZ said about the back four being able to do the same thing they did progressing the ball under Ange was a good point of his though and we did see that to a degree on Sunday. They fell back into that. Udogie looked more comfortable, for example.
The midfield looked a mess though because we had nobody who can do what we need on the ball (and havent for years), maybe bring Olusesi in and see if he can do it or hope Bentacur is ready for some minutes. Something has to happen in there Gray looked like a mistake waiting to happen on Sunday and Bergvall and Gallagher were useless. Midfield is the key. But I've been saying that for a year or more.
It's not a demand to be happy clappy, I'm just sick of seeing every post in every thread having "we're done" tagged on it, or even posts solely consisting of that.
It's not factually true as yet, and you can't definitively predict our remaining 6 results any more than you could predict Leeds leaving OT with 3 points last night.
Even if it turns out to be correct, so what? Well done? Does it make anybody feel any better really? It's utterly tiresome and it pervades the entire forum at this point.
I'm not about to do a deep dive to fact check, but I'd also bet these same people are bemoaning the lack of fight from our players, so how about practice what you preach??
Our next 4 are winnable for varying reasons, not likely wins by any stretch, but they're winnable. Do that and we could be practically safe by Chelsea, and they're hardly flying so we could even break our hoodoo against them.
I'm not exactly an optimistic person when it comes to Spurs usually, but even I am fed up of everyone competing to out-doom each other.
Unfortunately I tend to agree, but ultimately the decision to keep Frank and not invest does rest with him.
He just strikes me as a viper that will throw anyone under the bus to save his own skin.
Fair enough but I think you're taking people posting "we're done" a bit literally. Obviously we can still stay up until it's mathematically impossible but we've said each of our past 10-or-so league games were "must win" and we've won precisely 0 of them.
There's just no evidence at all that we're gonna turn it around and after having my hopes dashed 10 times I can't pretend I'm hopeful anymore.

Perversely, our terrible run to this point makes me feel that it's actually more likely that we do begin to get something from the remaining 6.
How often do you see a side go from Christmas onwards without picking up a win in the League by end of season? It would be a historically abysmal showing for us to manage that.
The sides around us have all had little runs, but they haven't turned into prime-Barcelona, they're where they are because they're also shit. West Ham were on a 10 game winless run until they played us, then they skanked 3 points and built up some momentum. Bournemouth were no wins in 11 until they played us, now they're comfortable in mid-table and just won away to Woolwich...
Granted, it sounds an awful lot like we could do with a League game against Spurs right now, and yes, if there is any side capable of going from Christmas to May without a single win it's definitely us, but still...
How many were expecting an absolute battering at Anfield? I know I was.
It can happen, and I hope to fucking God that the fans in the stadium on Saturday turn up with the same attitude they had for the Forest debacle, the players and the fans need to feed into each other, a spark needs to be found somewhere and fast because without that then we are doomed.
Well I'm glad you have hope, but we're breaking all the records this season and we seen to be a uniquely dysfunctional squad with horrible luck and crippling injuries so I'm not sure historical prescedent means anything.
I'm not gonna try to convince you to not be hopeful - obviously we all want Spurs to survive - but I'm simply nowhere near as optimistic as you are and would be very very surprised if we do somehow stay up.
