They are 2-0 up…They’re just in free fall at the moment. So it’s not exactly a long shot they lose those two. Or all three. They are lucky they’ve accumulated enough to potentially not be dragged into this scrap.

They’ve lost 4 in a row and have the same amount of losses in the league as we do. Just because they scored a couple goals after I posted that doesn’t change what the situation was prior.
We need Newcastle to lose today and pick up points versus West Ham and Forest , my worry is they get the 3 points today and then lose the following 2
Which no doubt we’ll fail to capitalise on!This is a bit unexpected. But if it stays this way, it’s a massive boost to our chances.
We WILL capitalise on it. Positivity, we need positivity.
That’s a good point , cheers Newcastle!!!They’re currently 2-0 up against BHA and I think it’s advantageous for us. We’re not overtaking Newcastle, and a loss for BHA would allow Villa to ease off and play a weaker team against us.
Umm you and a few others think that by the agrees but as I said form can suddenly leave you. Just needs one or two bad results and the pressure builds again.I'm the opposite. West Ham look like a team in form and in control. They look dogged at the back and with Bowen up front they have quality.
I think they'll get a plucky point against Brentford, lose to Woolwich, draw against a terrible Newcastle side and win their last match v Leeds comfortably.
We had plenty of chances to get out of this and I think we've missed them.
