Just saw that Joelinton was back today for Toon.

They had: Joelinton Tonali Bruno across the middle.

Just in time for Forest and spam.
Yeah that’s massive.

Forest definitely still in this - their run of games at this point is absolutely brutal - it’s not mad to think they don’t pick up another point. Chelsea and United away I can’t see them getting anything.

Newcastle at home is 3 days after the Europa second leg at Villa park.

Bournemouth at home final day is 4 days after the Europa final - which they are potentially in.

I mean, Solanke couldn't score in a brothel and Xavi has all of 5 assists this season.
Kudus has been out for 4 solid months and still has as many

I wouldn't say we have lost much.
We lost Kudus for the season to a relapse.
Xavi had a goal and assist against Brighton, his last game before getting injured. We've definitely lost quite a bit.
Agreed Solanke has been dire but last season he wasn't quite this bad before his big injury this season.
That shite is useless, it had us at 5 percent chance not to long ago
Actually had us at 0.67% just after we lost to West ham. Which was ludicrous.

They might not need to pick up any more points. I think West ham get maximum of 39-40 points.
As for us , I'm not convinced we can get to that total. People keep saying this team has nothing to play for , and that team are in Europa league semis and finals blah blah blah.
Iys professional football at the highest level with contracts to play for and league positions to fight for. I don't think I anyone is on the beach early these days.
There's no such thing as an easier game due to circumstances.
We can't rely on the opposition not turning up . We have to turn up and performance to a high level to get the results
Play poorly ,make mistakes , miss chances and we don't get the results we need.

It's going to the last day isn't it

Not sure I can take the whole "as it stands, Spurs are going down but a goal in either game can change things" scenario
I think so... and it's going to be brutal.

4 points from our next 3 games is not implausible (Villa draw, Leeds win, Chavs loss). Takes us to 38pts.

Don't see Spam getting a result against Woolwich (H) or Toon (A). They win at home to Leeds on the final day to reach 39pts - we hold onto a home draw against Everton and survive on GD.

I'm already getting palpitations just thinking about it...

Think we need a bare minimum 39 points That's spam losing to the scum and Newcastle
and beating Leeds last game
One win two draws, can we manage this?
:gallashmm:

Brentford beating West Ham has given us the opportunity to take our PL survival into our own hands.
Let's hope our bottleless/useless (De Zerbi aside) bunch of wasters make the most of it against Villa and we end up staying up and De Zerbi is allowed to eject the vast majority of this pathetic squad and build something all of us can be proud to support.
Alright Ted Lasso... Give it to us straight!
