Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He has played so little during his time here that his averages are susceptible to getting skewed in a quite flattering direction by a purple patch that wouldn't do much for players that play regularly.

And that's exactly what happened, with that purple patch he had from December 2023 to February 2024 in which he scored 9 league goals in 8 games skewing numbers up. The rest has been nothing but famine.

well thats bulshit

for a whole season he was getting a goal every 180 mins on the pitch, and the belters he scored? Over the shoulder volleys, left and right foot.

Everyone else would have competely miskicked or skied it into row Zed. Can't remember a single sitter missed.

Give yer head a wobble.

I thought Redknapp treated him like shit. He had a brilliant touch, great movement and could scored all types of goals.

One random match, v Sunderland at home. On the subs bench. hadnt looked like scoring. brings him on at 70 mins, within 5 mins he got the chance and rifled it into far corner. I knew he'd score it, his finishing was superb. Won it 1-0.

And that goal at Young Boys when we'd been 3 down and seriously not getting to the CL group stage. Unbelievably powerful shot high to the near post. Unstoppable.

Back to Richi. I thought it was right he took the pen. We need him to score in the PL when he's playing. Good header that would have been a lovely goal. If hed' scored a hat trick, then fine pass it to Dane.

His goal against Young Boys was class. What I loved about him is he always put himself between the posts and in between defenders. He scored loads of goals in his career where he’d be 12 to 6 yards out in the middle of the goal which always made it an easy finish but that was because he’d put himself there. Really liked him and he could have been even better for us. Genuinely looked like he enjoyed playing for us.

2022 was the summer of the Brazilian forwards, each priced at £50m. We got one, the nation's number nine, they got one, the nation's substitute number nine and Barcelona got the other, from Leeds. We were happy, they were a bit less happy and Barcelona were not very happy at all. Three years later...

Richarlison had an idyllic childhood.

Not having it about Pav. Even on a stats basis he scored 21 in 78 v Richy’s 19 in 80. He also was nowhere near as frustrating.

The others are fair - Soldado was far more likeable for me though just couldn’t do it for us.
Soldado wasn’t awful. Nice touch and worked hard but couldn’t finish and didn’t have enough strength or power to make chances

Solanke? RKM? Scarlett? BJ?

We’re not doing much this season anyway, except once again rebuilding. So if we get a touch weaker up front, no biggie.

Play Mickey up front if needed. 😂

Wouldn't even trust Solanke to stay fit at this stage so all you're relying on now is RKM, Scarlett isn't good enough is he - Unless Tel has some sort of magical growth spurt then I think we'll be short.😬
