I think that makes him the most in form striker in PL over the last 10 games or so.
The op he had has really transformed him - goals and pressing like a dervish
I hope those who were on his back at start of the season will have learned something.
Now up to a very respectable 10 goals and 3 assists in PL this season.
He's proving me wrong, long may it continue.

To be fair you probably didn't know he had an injury that could be fixed with surgery.
Did his job today for sure. More angry at us being determined on conceding just as many as he can score.
I've noticed when he's trying to hold the ball up he keeps it too close to his body, allowing defenders to easily get a foot to it.
Yep, incredible purple patch. I’m still not convinced it will continue but post surgery he’s been a different player.
Fair play to him.

He's only 4 goals off the leagues top scorers now with only Haaland having a better minutes per goal.

And I'm still impressed by his run of form since his op, he's starting to catch up on the PL top scorers despite a late start. If he keeps up this run of form .... he's not too far off the top now so anything is possible !

Great thread - Ange's system suits him well too, though undoubtedly the surgery - just in clearing the pain - really improved his touch!

I have to give him credit where due, I was one of his biggest haters. I did not expect this goal return or form. He’s never going to be one my favourite players but he’s shown he has enough to offer here as long as he’s used correctly.
I still don’t fancy him out wide but as a CF he’s doing what he’s supposed to so fair play to him for that.

It wasn't me but I definitely backed against him getting 20 just because of a shrink. Didn't realise he was injured and required surgery to hit some form.
