He is not good enough for this club. Never seen anything that made me think he could ever succeed at us. He’s a depressing looking sod too. Even when he had his not bad 9 game spell he was still a miserable fucker.
I do feel for him with his injury situation but he’s a lower prem player at best.
 
I am nearly positive that these knocks are not physical and that he is suffering from some type of mental illness or fragility.

I feel for the guy but from the perspective of the club he is a problem. His touch has always been wooden, he doesn’t dribble well, his finishing is patchy and I just don’t see him as a positive influence in the dressing room either.

It looked a debatable signing at the time and unfortunately I just can't see it working out at this stage so looks like another poor signing. No prospects of him turning things around and knowing our luck he would turn it around at another club if he went.

Should have told him he was absolutely not in our plans and would be sidelined and the WC qualifiers are around the corner etc.

Spook him about that.

They've already let him know that he isn't in the plans, I think the Solanke transfer made that pretty clear.

He isn't interested in going to Saudi despite the money, he's already said that.

At this point, he's injured so often I'm not sure how many teams will be in for him now.

I doubt he was directly handed the necessary blunt ultimatum, as I stated,.

Much like Johnson it was a baffling signing at the time for that money and it has proven to be a disaster.

A team with supposed ambition to win a league signing relegation fodder and expecting what exactly?
 
Losing the feeling with Richy-la. Feel for the lad, he's had a rotten run of luck with physical and mental difficulties, but it's all starting to seem a bit too familiar.

I don’t think we like to pay the wages of top strikers. He is on 90K which is about right for us. Top strikers are more 200k plus like Kane or Haaland level ones. I don’t think we shy away from big ish fees like £50-60m but I don’t think we like to big pay wages.
