Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I miss having two upfront. Who knows we could repeat scoring another 6 goals at OT lol. With so many teams defending against 1 forward, having 2 in some games could be lethal and well catch opponents by surprise.
Those two work hard to be fair so could create absolute havoc in terms of pressing and disrupting. kinda feel you would need a back 3 and MF 3 to not get completely overrun in CM

Richy could be struggling with mental health issues again. Could be that the injury is a recurring injury and its not good for the player or the club if the world knows atm because his value plummets.

Either way, Richy will be gone as soon as a deal can be done. The good thing is that his profile from that WC when he started for Brazil and scored a bicycle kick mean Saudi or the MLS will always be sniffing around. Massive shame though.
100% mental issues again - been thinking this since pre season. The club are protecting him and his value saying hes way off and not giving any other information.
Needs to be helped by the club to get his head right of course but sold as soon as possible - delicate situation tbf.

Yeap, you said it - delicate thing this one.

Mental health could get to literally anyone.

But when you are very top of footballing pyramid and playing for club like Spurs than literally anything you do or say or post (or equally what you don't do, say or post) will be under massive attention. Maybe it would be better for him to be somewhere where there is less attention on his actions and less pressure?

Having had some mental health issues myself and looking what he said over the summer, I got the feeling (and I admit - I AM talking out of my ass - I do not know if it is true, just my very subjective interpretation) that he felt like he owes something to Spurs. That we paid big fee and pay his salaries and supported him through his struggles, so he feels indebted towards the club, so wanted to come back and repay with his performances. Most likely he had the best intentions with saying he wants to stay. But unfortunately it has not happened so far, and at this point best repayment for the club would be that he would be willing to move on somewhere for a fee. Nothing malicious or anything, just best possible outcome from such situation for all parties.

Unfortunately we're still in a position where men can't or feel comfortable enough to say I'm really struggling mentally. If it is mental health that is the issue he should be able to be comfortable with being able to say he's really not in a good headspace. Probably a few of us here that have been in such a bad place that we don't even want to do the things we enjoy doing me included at some points.

Richarlison would get injured having a bad dream about playing a match.

I feel for him, as you can tell he wants to play football, especially for Brazil. But something is inherently wrong with either his body or his mind.

I don't know why, but my brother is convinced there's a story going round that he's gay. Not one I've heard anywhere at all.
But 'd imagine if there was some truth, as a footballer in a very homophobic world, it must be hard as fuck to cope with.

He’s not the only gay footballer at
Spurs if so and the sooner they get on with it, the better

The trouble with him is more than injury, he's been ineffective even when fully fit. That could be explained many ways I suppose, but there's no a lot of difference to the club when Richarlison has been available and when he hasn't.
