Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So he was good when he appeared and worthless when he didn't appear?

Unless you're sticking with:

In which case I'm not sure how 0.9 non-penalty goal involvements per 90 is bang average; it was 4th best in the league behind Olise, De Bruyne and Jota, and ahead of Watkins, Haaland, Foden, Palmer, Nunez, Bailey, Salah and Son. (In fact if you only look at players that played more than 1400 minutes he was the best in the league, because he actually played more minutes than Olise, De Bruyne and Jota).

Yes his availability is an ongoing liability. And yes there are elements of his game that have room for improvement. But let's not pretend that he was only bang-average when he did turn up for us last season.

And no for the record I'm not saying we should keep him. It's just sad seeing fans disrespecting Spurs players, especially when there is no substance to it.

Yep just the usual nutjob spurs fan, the kind that hate it when Johnson scores. The kinda clown that says yeah he scored a hatrick today but outside that he was awful .

Where’s this gay stuff come from ? He was in a bad place when his ex girlfriend broken up with him a few years back.

I think we want shot & he want gone too . Don’t even know what his injury is anymore
It's old. It's another player same name. Our one isn't gay...just permanently injured or in recovery. I feel for him, but he needs to be honest and find a less demanding league.

All in all, I do feel sorry for the guy as I get the impression he cares and it’s never nice to see people struggle.

Looking at it more critically, we haven’t had much back for our £60 million investment. Bit of a ‘mare all round.

Saw somewhere Ange was telling journalists to not ask him about Richy availability anymore until he shares an update with them when there is one. Ange patience is starting to get tested by both Richy and journalists no doubt.

Honestly, when you guys expecting to see him play, if again and not loaned out / sold in January? I'm optimistically seeing closer to Christmas helping out with the congested fixtures. Wouldn't be surprised those matches are for him to build his fitness to leave in January window too.

The later he's back for us, the more we are rueing the Saudi money not taken by us for his rejection to move... :ange-facepalm2:

We didn't refuse the money... There's nothing for us to regret in that sense.

There's virtually no likelyhood he'll be loaned out in Jan........... Until he has a stint where he remains fit; even a sale is unlikely.

He'll either remain injured or begin to fulfill his remit as a back-up.

Hope fully with Solanke firing at the moment it takes the pressure off and he can return to fitness fully and not with some setback along the way.
Plenty of games to play and would be great to have two (or three with Lankshear) fully fit forwards to choose from.

the people at Spurs who thought this guy was worth £60M needed to be questioned and sacked
there was nothing in this guys EPL record ( Everton watford) to show he was worth anything near that money
the money is hard earned yet thrown away like confetti
He was a near to 'guaranteed' 12-15 goals a season out there, with hope that he could push on. Thats what 50-60m gets you.

Didn't play out that way, mainly due to injuries, but thats the logic.
