Yeah - the reaction to the goal did make me wonder tbh. Like, I'm all for big celebrations and have no issue with him taking his shirt off, but the emotional breakdown at the end was a bit much. He just seems like such an emotionally-led player that you can't really rely on at all. It's a complete lottery as to whether he'll score a bicycle-kick worldie or put in a 2/10 performance (and more often we see the latter).Richi used to be a nuisance that oppo teams struggled to deal with, and I loved that aspect of his game. However, he clearly has physical and mental issues that are affecting his game. He doesn't seem to have the ability to be a hold-up the ball anymore, and his histrionics are quite frankly pathetic. It's a shame, as his passion is without doubt, but he is just too flaky in my opinion. I really want him to succeed, as he stands out as one of the few characters in the Prem'.
At this level there has to be some degree of consistency, and Rich's entire game outside of running around and being a general nuisance, feels completely random.
