This is what I'm saying. RDZ wants to play quick, attacking football. We don't have the personnel, nor the time to implement it. And it's a completely different system than we've played all year. We've never looked to play on the front foot. Big Sam would've been a better gamble til the summer. Just shut up shop and get any points we can. Trying to get this lot to play is only going to go one way.
All i know is, its not going to work with 3 up front with 2 being wide, we are the most toothless team in the league with this setup. Our wide players are trash and our isolated striker isnt good enough.

4312 id go with, pack the midfield out, get the 1 to try and play off and be the third man runner for the strikers, get the ball in the box from deep wide positions. Its basic stuff, but should be fairly solid, i think its the most logical setup with what we have.

We're cooked. Nothing else for it. He's not going to play a style that makes us miserable to watch and hard to beat, intentionally. Unintentionally, he's going to make us horrible to watch and easy to beat.

Watching Di Zerbi's expression throughout the game was funny.

He started nervous. Some early optimism, and then towards the end of the first half, the realisation that these players as a group are awful.

Bergvall and Grey hooked after 1 hour. Clearly data led - the'd touched the ball only 20 times. For a midfielder to touch the ball once every 3 minutes means they are not part of the game.

Not sure why Richy was hooked. RKM looked like it was the first time he'd played football.

Dare I say.......The only player that looks like he can make things happen in the final 3rd is Tel. I'd say they need to build the attack around getting the ball the Tel, with Richy and Solanke in the box.

RDZ was just another iteration of Frank and Tudor. Managed to leave out our two best attacking players.
Made three substitutions leaving as unable to bring on Xavi earlier.

Sorry - but the most depressing thing about today was the manager.
We don't need to pay £12m.a year for another anti football manager.

He needs to grow a pair quickly.
Caution = failure.
Play , Tel and Xavi.
Play a youth player instead of Solanke.
And tell the players to shoot

You think Tel and Xavi are our two best attacking players? might as well send us down now.

It is if it's your modus operandi. But for a short-term fix. Balls deep.
I enjoy watching good football, thats about getting the job done. It doesn't have to be tiki taka, yes thats lovely on the eye, but i'm more than happy to watch my team be solid and hard to beat, play with intelligence and to an optimal way with what we have. It's actually cringe watching us try and play with 3 up top because it's the in thing now. You need quality from wide for this to work, it's killing us and has done for years now.

I don't know if you realise that I'm saying we're going to get relegated trying to play attacking football, when we don't have attacking players.

We should be getting results ugly, the only hope. Long term though, nah. We've had little success long term with backs to the wall guys oddly. But we do need someone in the middle of both ideologies.

Do people not get it's not the manager now????

We start Xavi and it would still be the same. The players don't care...please register it into your head my God.

We've had an ultra attacking coach, a pragmatic defensive coach, a coach that plays a back 3 and now an attacking coach and it's all the same. We can't create and we don't look dangerous in attack, we can't string a pass together.

Our midfield and attack is dog shit. Kudus early on bailed us out of trouble this season but generally we are absolutely atrocious. We hype up our players but sorry...out midfield is not good and not balanced...and our attack is non existent. Now add to that the players couldn't give a shit and well...

Bringing on Palhinha and Sarr at 0-0 (before they scored) was a very anti - RDZ decision based on my understanding of him.

Fraud watch already.
He’s probably still learning about the team.

He probably thought Palhinha would provide a screen of the back four and Sarr would bring energy as Berg is still recovering match fitness, but in reality all it did was sacrifice technical ability and allow more sustained pressure from Sunderland.

Whatever happens in this run in RDZ gets a free pass from me as I believe we’ve seen enough manager, formation and style changes to realise where the real problem lies.

Grey and Bergvall had little effect on the game. 22 and 19 touches over 60 minutes. Averaging 1 touch every 3 minutes is terrible for central midfielders.

It should really have been Xavi on for Bergvall.

Of course, we aren’t privy to what’s going on behind closed doors. International clubs will be trying to influence team selection, agents sniffing to get their golden goose playing champions league football next season and players mental attitudes.

Bringing on those two made no difference to how we played. Paulinha actually got on the ball more than Archie who was a ghost yesterday. Fuck the fraud watch mate, that’s not right. Every player in that team is a fraud until they prove otherwise and that includes the likes of Gray and Bergvall even though they are young.
I’d bin the fucking lot of them. How many managers do we need to go through before we realise it’s the players that are shit, don’t give a fuck and are stealing a living from this football club.
Crocodile tears when they play the game like it’s a pre season friendly when we are in a relegation fight can get to fuck.

I can’t wait to the summer to get the cull needed to fix this place and I’m very confident we have the right manager to do it.
