Management Roberto De Zerbi

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

After watching de zerbi on the touchline yesterday I'm really doubting he'll be up for the challenge of managing in the champo. He looked pretty subdued and resigned to it all. We really don't need someone going through the motions next season. If he's motivated then great, if not I hope he just resigns in the summer. Howe would probably take the job if he's sacked by newcastle and something tells me he'd be a better fit for the league we're going to be playing in.

Wouldnt be fussed, in fact quite pleased. Get Poch or McKenna and try and get a bit of Tottenham back.

He's on a £60m contract doubt he resigns, he knew what he signed up for.

If he wants out he's gonna have to do a Conte.

Make no mistake getting out of the Championship first time of asking is going to bevl a tough job - RDZ has no experience in that league and will have not managed in a league that is that much of a slog. Thinking he's the man to lead us out of it is another example of poor decision making by the powers that be at our club. We absolutely need an experienced manager for that level of football along with a deep squad with it's share of tried and tested players.

Thinking we can just rock up with RDZ and a bunch of returning loan players + Winks and Skipp no doubt will kill us

I'm clinging to the hope that he's motivated and gets us playing good attacking football which will be too much for champo level teams. Kompany did it with burnley without any champo experience so it can be done. I'm just getting the vibe that de zerbi wont fancy it and will be practically begging to be sacked by christmas. Hope not but it wouldn;t surprise me.

Not fussed about De Zerbi he's a more than competent coach to get us out of it...I'm more fussed about the recruitment - I don't trust this club to profile the right players to get us back up.

Did he ever mention the refereeing decisions postgame?

It was one of the worst refereeing jobs we’ve dealt with this year which is saying quite a lot considering how much has gone against us this season.

I am seeing plenty of fans, both Spurs and others, reacting online but it really should be brought to light by officials of the club.
Of course not. Our club is run by a bunch of gigantic pussies. Too afraid to call out the officiating for the screw job we've been subjected to all year. Too afraid to challenge that fat Greek drug dealer after he held MGW hostage and refused fo honor a release clause.

That would be extremely damaging for his career if he gets sacked/leaves midseason in the Championship with our resources.

No it's not. There was 7 games left to save our PL status. We don't have the luxury of bedding someone in. We've went after a manager that we don't have the right tools for him to succeed. That pairing of Palinha and Gallagher in midfield yesterday just sums the whole thing up. How are we supposed to play attacking football when he's playing those two together. Hiring him was the nail in the coffin. He'd have been there in the summer.
End of the day this was another paraticis recommendations. Levy liked paratici as hes a tough negotiator. Thats why we fart arsed around in transfer market. I really dislike levy what hes done to our club. Dragged us through the dirt and just to make sure hes dragged us through the dirt again. ENIC need to sell up. They're out of touch and have no football expertise.

Agree or scott parker.

He probably couldn't believe how actually fucking shit we are , a shock to the system

I can't believe how shit he was for the first game.
A replica of Tudor and Frank - awful line-up awful subs. The same 3 subs at once as Tudor - and then we get an injury ( not exactly unusual ) so he can't bring on Xavi
Absolute pony.

Really hope he improves - because that was really poor .

We are cursed.

Spoke with a pal who's a die-hard Goon today. Even he said we got absolutely robbed yesterday. Reminded me of that O'Nien foul on Udogie when he's clean through on goal in the first half...proper rugby tackle...nothing given.

But as usual nobody from within Spurs daring to say anything. Too worried of paying a fine. At least Tudor had the bollocks. De Zerbi is a weak prick.
Yeah I noticed yesterday a bunch of social media accounts from supporters of several clubs starting to see what we’ve seen the entire campaign.

I hope RDZ calls it out soon. It’s one thing I respected Tudor for. He called it out immediately after Fulham away.

That not picking them has brought us to the brink of relegation?
And people here moaned to the high heavens about it, and players not playing in their positions, and Tudor got sacked for it.

He's doing the same, but it's fine and dandy, can't judge him til Xmas, despite us having 6 games to save our PL status. I just don't understand the logic, and everyone being so delighted, to get a manager that in order to be successful, needs players that we don't have for him to successfully implement his style.

It's the same posters who go balls in on every manager like they're the new pope, it's bizarre.
