No one is doubting the quality of managers, we all know how good he is.

Regardless it still takes time to sort out a cluster fuck of a mess, regardless of how good the manager is.

It took Poch nearly a year to get the players playing the way he wants.

It takes time, will always take time, and top 3 is unrealistic silly bollox.
United finished 16th, lost the EL final, sacked Amorim halfway through the new season, brought in a guy who had somewhat failed at Boro...finished 3rd.

And?

Amorim, alienated most of squad, and played everyone out of position, and didn't have an injury crisis like ours.

Also had a better squad...
And ...his point seems clear. It can be turned round pretty quickly with the correct investment buy in and an actually talented coach..I agree with him. I watched alot more of other teams in the EPL this year mostly because I was constantly hoping for favours to save us, the standard is genuinely the poorest I can recall both here and in Europe. If we are as ambitious with getting proven attackers as we have the defence we can be competitive more quickly than in previous decades.

His point is wrong, ManU were in a far better position as a club, than Spurs are.

They just had an manager that was hated...

We on the other hand, an entirely different story.

These points dont mitigate what he said. And aren't wrong, he just has a diffrent opinion to you. United being 'far better ' one place and less a trophy than Spurs but 'better' aside, does not mean we can not improve as radically. These things are not mutually exclusive.

Also that the manger was 'hated' Frank wasn't exactly popular either. I dont think Van De Ven or Spence were enamoured. Of the two cases made his is actually more convincing than the one you make. Mostly because 'they didn’t like Amorin is pretty empty'. That's my opinion neither right or wrong just diffrent to yourself.
