Its the same BS that always gets tossed around because it is an easy narrative that requires very little thinking or analysis.

Keane, and many like him like to think that there is some inner strength that they have that led them to success while ignoring that the reason he was so successful was that he played with some of the most talented players to play in the PL.

If we beat City thanks to two own goals on back passes from Stones to Ederson and them hitting the bar 100 times, does that now mean we are hard men with the will to win?

If next season we go on a run of Liverpool-United-Chelsea-Leicester and then lose on penalties against City in the final does that mean we then go back to being weak?

Unless people can point to actual things that happen in the games or season that indicate that there is something wrong with the specific team and not just a look at results then it remains BS.

And the moronic idea that it can be a club thing over different teams/players is even more of a joke.

The reason why we are "Spursy" is that we are good enough to have expectations and reach the end of tournaments but not quite at the level to beat the top teams. There are plenty of clubs that "bottle" it more than us but they are out in the 3rd round with zero expectations so they are given a pass or even praised for trying hard. There is no underlying quality of softness or bottling,

Unbelievable as ever that some of the usual suspects can't accept the truth.

So far one has resorted to an insult, revealing their class and another child who actually doubles as a stalker has resorted to drivel-based nonsense like a dripping tap. Oh please carry on.

To those who want to talk to the issue of us being soft or flaky, where is the evidence that we consistently don't grab defeat from fhe jaws of victory?

There is no pleasure in seeing the inadequacy of our mentality but it is there clear as day. It's a club mindset and only goes when we return to trophy-winning ways...I hope.

It matters not a jot that it was Roy Keane or Donald Duck. Facts are facts and a club our size has no excuse to have gone 13 fcuking years since we lifted a trophy.

Unless it is of course soft.

Keane is a cunt, but he’s right. It’s why so many of us admired the fight we had during The Battle Of The Bridge. We’ve always been soft touches in my time of supporting us.

And if we had a Roy Keane snarling about in midfield, we wouldn’t have lazy fuck players jogging around the place and hiding from the ball like we do today.

Absolutely nailed it and that’s what has been wrong with this club for a long time

No leader on the field

Hugo isn’t it but I don’t want a keeper as skipper in any case
For me it has to be a midfielder but we haven’t got anyone who could adopt that mantle
Get a couple of seasons experience with Skippy and who knows

If it’s true that Jose doesn’t instruct us to sit back after scoring (which I don’t believe) then a captain on the field can influence the way we play as per the managers instructions

A lot of our side need an absolute rocket up their arse as they don’t seem to give a fuck !!

What did Keane win before he went to Utd? What did he win after he left? What did he win as a manager? What did he win with Ireland?

Nothing. He played for the richest club in the country under the best manager in their history so he has a shit ton of trophies. They would have won most of them without him. Without Ferguson and Utd he's as soft as he thinks Spurs are
You are deluded if you think Roy Keane didn’t play any part in Uniteds success. Utterly deluded.

He was a good player and SAF right hand man on the field

Still a cunt imv especially for that tackle on Haaland but he was an integral part of ManU success

Roy was a childhood Spurs fan. He’s hurting as much as we all are by the current levels of mediocrity and is just lashing out.

There is zero evidence that we are. All people point to is results without looking at what actually happened in the games. They just attribute it softness or Spursy because it is easier that actually assessing what happened.

You know how many teams won on hard work and "attitude" zero? Teams win with talent.

A team full of Keanes is whipped by a team full of Beckhams.

If you think winning a trophy will change anything you are crazy. The only thing that changes anything is talent.

If we bring in Mbappe, Neymar, Ederson, Haaland, KDB, VVD, Dias, Kante our hardness won't improve but we likely win because our talent is so much better.

its a mixture of both. You can have all the best players in the world like you mention but they have to play with the correct attitude. It’s the reason PSG haven’t won the only thing their owners care about.

Our Captain is good enough to inspire and make sure their are no lazy fuckers when France won the World Cup but now we are supposed to believe when he comes back here he isn't enough but a guy like Keane that won jack shit with weak talent around him would? Bull Shit.

Now maybe it because with France he is playing with noted hard workers and great attitude guys like Pgoba, Mbappe, Greizmann and Dembele or maybe it is because France is the best fucking team in the world and talent actually means something.

Sure

Although I am not sure that PSG didn't win last year because of attitude. They lost to a better side. If they had beat Bayern in the final do you really think that would have erased everything else that happened before that? That they would have magically changed?

That is the problem with looking solely at results and not what actually happens.

Wonders to self if it’s worth clicking on the disagree on this post to see who it was.

Decides not to bother as he already knows.....
