He's clearly got some ability. Maybe with good coaching and maturity he can develop. Why don't we wait until he's at least out of teens before completely writing him off?
With the exception of Janssen, who simply had a clean plate.Poch DID say in the summer that everyone has been given a clean slate so I do hope some of these guys are given the chance to impress. Being surrounded by better players will make you look better, hide your weaknesses and above all, we all love to see a promising talent succeed.
Edwards against Akinfenwa though...May get his chance against Wycombe
Actually what he said was : "Marcus Edwards has to learn more about playing without the ball. He's brilliant with the ball."Already on the outs with the Norwich manager apparently.
Farke has said that Edwards needs to get a "grown up attitude" and work on his defensive contributions.
FFS kid
He’s on a professional contract. School days are over, time to be a grown up and go into work on time. FFS most people’s days are half over by the time footballers report, and the footballers are still back at home on the couch talking nonsense to their model girlfriends hours before we punch out. He’s a kid!
If a senior pro turns up late, gives attitude etc then they deserve to be shown the door.
With kids, it’s inportant to guide them and teach them. His attitude could change with the right mentoring. It’s more than just about his career at Spurs, it’s important that he has a career at all. It’s easy to give up on someone and perhaps he will fall into a bad place if we do so.
