Yep Rangers have done 9 on a row once and Celtic now have done it twice, they could still get the 10th but unlikely. Gerrard said in his opening press conference when he took the job is that it's his aim to stop 10 in a row

Rangers being demoted has allowed Celtic to become worse and still win, the knock on of that is that the originally poor standard of the league has dropped. Scottish football is in a mess. The prize money is for winning the league is about £3.3m, that would just cover Danny Rose's salary...
It's a bit of placating to the support, who's main focus has been to win the league before Celtic get their 10th in a row. Also could be taken as the goal is to win the league as soon as, which if you're one of the old firm the goal is to win the league every year.
A duopoly is better than a monopoly I guess. Actually like rangers, had some good players in the 90’s and do well with less money than Celtic now.
