Harry Redknapp reports that Aaron Lennon is fit and set to start against Shamrock Rovers in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The winger has been sidelined by a groin problem since the home match against City on August 28.
"Aaron is fine and will play tomorrow," said Harry at Spurs Lodge on Wednesday morning.
"It will be great to have him back and if he gets through tomorrow, he could be available for the weekend."
There was good and bad news on the injury from the manager at his pre-match press conference.
As well as Aaron's return, Harry declared that both Danny Rose (knee) and Steven Pienaar (groin) were both back in the frame for our second group match.
"We have some lads coming back who need games like Aaron, Danny Rose has been out and he's fit and available, I'm also hoping Steven Pienaar will be fit to play a part.
"We've a stronger, more experienced team tomorrow and a chance to play some of the lads who didn't play at the weekend."
There was also good news on Michael Dawson, who suffered an Achilles injury in the build-up to the Wolves match on September 10.
"Michael Dawson is coming on well," said Harry. "I've been delighted with him. If there was ever a player who would get back quickly, it's Michael.
"He's out of the protective boot, will be jogging next week and is moving on quickly.
"Hopefully we'll see him back in a few weeks and that will be a real bonus for us. He's a fantastic professional."
The down side is that Tom Huddlestone requires ankle surgery and William Gallas has picked up another calf problem.
"Tom's going back to have another operation on his ankle, going back to the specialist," reported Harry. "It looks long-term and that's a blow for him.
"William had a calf strain that kept him out for a long time, he got over that, came back last week and felt the other calf. He's had a bit of a setback."
