Bitter about what? That we're getting a mid table manager instead of going for a quality choice? ...yeah actually youre right I am bitter about that :nunothumb:
Sure buddy- what a great supporter of the club you are- optimistically predicting that we’ll be 7th-10th “for years”, forecasting that everyone will be a let down compared to Ange. Ya fucking right.

7th to 10th is a sacking under Levy. In no way is that for any "foreseeable future". He'll get Nuno'd if he gets off to a horrendous start.

Levy said it himself, he wants spurs "competing on all fronts". That means going deep in cups (not winning them) and finishing top 4 (or 5 now).
People always trot this out because they like the way it sounds. The reality is that no manager who has finished below 5th has ever kept their job under Levy. Ange is the only one that's been on that track and was allowed to finish the season - because we were also on track to win the EL.

It's pretty clear what the minimum expectation is.

Still Silva or Iraola for me. I like Glasner a lot too, and would absolutely love if we could get Xavi or Inzaghi.
It would be great but highly unlikely , I will support any of the others , because one thing I've learnt , no one has a clue on who will really be a success or not .
I just want Spurs to kick on from the EC success so will just give my best support to whoever gets the job , like every Spurs supporter should , as for the fans , well who knows .

There's a psychology behind being an "almost" team.

It flirts with the hope and expectation of us fans.

It's what keeps us pouring our hard earned into the club. Keep dangling the carrot.
It's not that cynical.

We generally spend 5th/6th in wages and fees. Finishes lower than 5th is simply underperforming. On top of that, financially European football is a necessity and regular CL football needed. Failing to secure 4th is acceptable now and again, but less than 5th is, again, unacceptable.
