Skipp Bentancur could form a very reliable partnership in the middle of the park. Bentancur has settled in remarkably well to the PL, most takes months to adjust from Serie A. He'll love being alongside Skipp as soon as he's back from his injury.
Both quite young so potential to get even better under one of the best manager's in the world.

So now we are dropping Holjberg, who has been reliable and solid in the team and should probably be our captain?

Front 3 are playing well on the whole; Kane in particular seems hungry and back to his best. I feared he was on permanent decline with how sluggish he was at the start of the season.
Son had a shocker on Sunday, but has been clinical in most matches. Lucas' passing is improving, as shown by his game vs Southampton; while Bergwijn looks good as a super sub.

Front 3 are playing well? Kane and Son are having their worse season ever and can't hit a barn door. They are both knocking on the door of 30.

Son is pulling out of tackles in fear. Bergjwin was a good sub in 1 game, and is now a super sub? Where was this super sub against Southampton?

Defence has been awful in recent matches, but Dier coming back could add stability and give Romero even more licence to be aggressive. Sanchez is irredeemable and Davies is unreliable; so buying the 3rd LCB option this summer lays the foundation for a quality back 3.

Since our saviour Romero has come back we have leaked goals in comedy fashion. Hardly inspiring confidence.

Conte seems determined to stay and improve us. I think Spurs is actually an amazing opportunity for him. Of course it's the toughest job in his career yet; but if he succeeds it could elevate his status.

United, PSG, City and potentially Liverpool jobs will all be available soon. He's going to stay at Spurs and play Europa Conference League?

Yes.

Yes. No, they're not having their worst season ever.

Yes. Scored but was offside.

Not to blame.

United will go for Poch, PSG Zidane, City will not change to a counter attacking manager.
Klopp is not going leave Liverpool anytime soon. Also succeeding at a team who are already doing great won't change the perception of Conte much. Spurs gives him a chance to be a true managerial great.

I've been vegetarian for about a year - wait is that a positive 🤔

Reliable, solid and should be captain? Are you blind, or ill?

Good attempt OP and thank you for remaining positive but I can't see it for so many reasons.

in no particular order:

1) Conte refuses to play 3 in the middle (probably because he decided to get rid of 3 centre midfielders and realise we will be short with only 1 on the bench if this formation actually works)

2) Our right wing back situation is nothing short of diabolical.

3) We have too many brain fart players. So much so that Dier is now considered reliable.

4) Our transfer strategy in January was to get rid of players and save as much as you can on wages. Improving the squad didn't really matter.

5) we have nothing on the bench in an attacking sense other then Bergwijn. We can say Gil wasn't ready or Ndombele was lazy but it was good having some sort of option.

6) Conte like any manager has his favourites but he has demonstrated on a couple of occasions he's not fair about some of his decisions meaning the players he doesn't rate will always feel they are not being fairly treated. Examples include that European game where Sanchez was absolutely appalling and cost us a goal yet he took Rodon off. He then says he sees Rodon as a Dier alternative yet still doesn't play him and sticks with Sanchez and Davies making mistake after mistake. Even the Sess sub on Sunday. Much more sense to take Davies off if you're changing to 4-2-3-1.

Why is Hoj included in that trio? It’s Dier and Skipp that are relevant, not that basic one paced chugger
We'll see. He's not an exquisite footballer, but he will make tactical fouls all day in the opposition half to quell attacks. And just like that twat Podence on Sunday, is happy to act like a little bitch and lay on the floor to interrupt play.
