Love to see that even in training Son and Kane are totally synchronized, ran together through that brutal session offering encouragement to each other as they went.

Obviously we are not on the same wave length and you think your a smart arse!
On ignore again you go!

Fwiw here's how the Mail had our training match line-ups.

Doc Doc noted Fagan-Walcott always look comfortable in possession, and if the Mail is to believed (rarely) he played as the central CB.

Sarr not listed, but doc mentioned he played as a WB, probably because our four first choice CMs are all fit.

---------------------

10 on 10 line-ups

Forster
Tanganga - Fagan-Walcott - Davies
Doherty - Hojbjerg - Bissouma - White
Parrott - Kane - Son

Lloris
Romero - Dier - Sanchez
Royal - Bentancur - Skipp - Sessegnon
Gil - Richarlison - Moura

Tottenham stars feel the strain in Seoul!

So I watched the training footage from Korea, and I noticed a few things:

- Kane well off the pace, needs to get his first touch dialed in apparently.
- Richarlison is an OK finisher, but his runs are great.
- Bryan Gil looked good, great at dropping deep and finding the final pass, but non-league level of finishing. Future star if he can sort out the finishing.
-Pape Sarr seems to have good fundamentals, short passing, first touch etc.
- Gulf in class between Son and Kane and the others in terms of finishing is a joke.
- Skipp needs to work on his passing

White playing Wing Back is interesting, although it probably has more to do with the fact he's left footed than anything else you'd imagine.

Yes. Doc Doc noticed Sarr playing LWB too, so inevitably at this stage of pre-season, some players would not be in their natural positions.

But it's an opportunity for all our fringe players, eg Parrott playing as a wide forward, to show their versatility and ability to follow Conte's tactical instructions.

Weird take and far too judgemental based on one training session but ok.

Yeah, kinda feel like Sarr was just thrown out there to involve him, probably wanted to give pitch time to Bissouma/Hojbjerg and Skipp/Benta who'd never played as pairs before. Doubt there's anything in it as a potential position for him.

I agree. With the caveat that this is presumably the first time Conte is getting a proper look at Sarr.

There's only so much our scouting reports will tell a coach. And we know that Conte is not afraid to convert players to new positions, Perisic being an example.

But with Sarr being young & new to Conte's system, it would make sense for our coaches to concentrate on developing him in his natural position, CM, and seeing how he adjusts to Conte's tactical demands.
